Why Negotiate When You Can Conquer?

CHAPTER 4

The next day, Jungkook woke up determined. Today is the day I am going to befriend people all by myself.

Since it was a special day, Jungkook decided to dress up in a special way. He wore black skinny jeans with a white shirt and a pink blouse over it. To make it extra special he wore a black choker and his round glasses that he rarely wore anymore. He didn't wear them since they would always slide down his nose and he would have to constantly adjust them. But this was worth the mild annoyance.

He did his usual routine when Yugyeom entered the kitchen

"GOOOOOOOD MORNING BABY~" The beta said cheerfully but suddenly stopped.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes Yuggy?"

Yugyeom stood there, frozen. Jungkook turned around after a while, curious from the lack of response. When he saw Yugyeom's blank face he tilted his head in a questioning manner. This broke Yugyeom.

"OMG! WHY ARE SO FREAKING CUUUUUUUUUUTE??!!" Yugyeom screamed as he jumped on Jungkook and started squishing his cheeks and cooing at him. Jungkook just stood there, shook, his eyes were wide in shock and surprise as he did not expect this sort of outburst.

After a few minutes of this, Yugyeom finally calmed down.

"Ok, ok. I'm cool now." He looked at Jungkook again and squealed a bit. "Oh jeez! You look so adorable baby! Is there a special reason why you are dressed like this?"

"Can't I just dress up cute?" Jungkook said with a pout as he crossed his arm.

"NO! No! Of course you can! I just meant - I mean - I-"

"Hehe! I'm just joking Yuggy!" Jungkook giggled.

"Ya! You little brat!" The beta pouted.

"I'm sorry~" The omega gave Yugyeom his puppy eyes and he stopped pouting, and internally cooed at the cutie.

"But seriously, why are you dressed up?"

"Oh um... No reasons! I just wanted to be pretty today!" Jungkook lied. He didn't lie very often but he knew that his best friend could be quite overprotective and didn't want him to freak out, especially after what happened yesterday (the hand kisses).

"Baby! You don't need to dress up to look cute! You always look cute!" Jungkook hugged Yugyeom and kissed his cheek. As he looked at the wall, he saw the clock.

"Oh popsicles! We have 25 min to get everything ready!" The beta and omega hurried to set up everything. And as the time neared opening time, Jungkook couldn't help but feel nervous yet excited.

It was lunchtime and just like the day before, Omelas was packed.

"Wow! The new sandwiches must be good if there are so many people two days in a row!" Jungkook exclaimed happily to Yugyeom.

"Ya...The sandwiches..." The beta answered with a suspicious tone, glaring at those who were sneakily looking and taking pictures of Jungkook. The omega, however, stayed oblivious to all of the attention and to Yugyeom's odd answer. All he could think off was the men from yesterdays. He assumed that they were all alphas but he only knew for sure that Yoongi was an alpha since he smelled it. Even though the others kissed his hand (Jungkook blushed just at the thought of it) he wasn't able to get a good impression of their scents.

Yugyeom was working in the kitchen and Jungkook impatiently waited for the beautiful men. He was decorating chocolate chip cupcakes (named Kookie after Jungkook) since it was one of their most popular items when he suddenly realized that the whole bakery went quiet.

He lifted his head to see the group from yesterday walking into Omelas. Everybody was staring at them with awe. They must be in awe of their beauty, Jungkook thought when in reality, everybody knew who they really were.

They walked towards the counter and Jungkook nervously waited for them.

"Hello sweetheart! How are you today?" Jin asked with a smirk on his face.

"I'm good! Thank you! How are you?" Jungkook asked excitedly.

"Better now that I've seen you" Jin winked and Jungkook blushed red.

"T-thank you! Can I help you with anything?" The omega said shyly.

"Well I don't know about the others, but I've been weirdly craving chocolate chip since yesterday," Jin said, making all of the other boys smirk. Alphas had a much better sense of smell than betas and omegas so when they kissed Jungkook's hand, they were able to catch a whiff of his scent: chocolate chip.

"Oh me too!"

"Same!" All the boys started exclaiming. Jungkook's blush reached his ears and he hurriedly prepared 6 chocolate chip cupcakes.

"Is there anything else I can help you with?" Jungkook asked while still trying to calm his blush.

"No thank you love," Namjoon said sweetly while intensely staring at the beauty. Jungkook's hard work to stop his blush seemed to dissipate as he felt his face burn hotter than the sun.

As he was internally exploding, the others took notice and decided to take pity on the poor boy and started to say goodbye and leave. Jungkook took notice and started panicking.

"Wait!" He screamed as they turned around. They all whipped their head back to see the omega fiddle with his apron as he took a deep breath.

"I-I was.. umm. w-wondering if.. m-maybe...umm..you w-would l-like to.." The princes eagerly waited for Jungkook to finish his sentence. All of them hoping for the same thing. "you d-don't have to! B-but if you could... bemyfriend!" Jungkook said in a hurry.

"Babe, you are going to have to repeat that cause none of us heard you," Jimin said nicely while giving the omega a fond look.

"C-could you.. be my.. friend?" Jungkook stared at the ground, scared to see their reactions. The others looked at each other and they internally cooed at the cute boy and telepathically squealed at his adorable proposal.

Hoseok walked to the boy and put his finger under his chin to lift his head. The omega could smell the scent of sunflowers and lilies mixing together with a huskiness that categorized him as alpha.

"You are so adorable," He said to Jungkook and took his hand off his chin to take his phone out of his pocket. "Here, put your phone number in." He unlocked his phone and put it in Jungkook's hand.

"S-so is that a yes?" The boy asked quietly, his beautiful eyes revealing his insecurities and worries.

"We would love to be your friend!" Hoseok gave him his gorgeous heart smile which Jungkook returned with his bunny smile, making everybody in the bakery's hearts melt at the sight.

Jungkook put his phone number in and Hoseok said that he would create a group chat for them so that they can all talk together.

As they left, Jungkook waved at them cheerfully. He sighed in happiness afterward and couldn't help but feel proud of himself.
