Chapter Twenty: The Return of the Thirty-Nine Skys (Snap, the title itself is a spoiler, dang it)
Place: The plains by Jerome's tree house
Time: twenty minutes later
Sky's POV
"Ta-da!" I shout rather proudly, finishing the bottom of the 'Y' in Ty's name.
I mean Evil-Ty's name.
I mean Misunderstood-Ty's name.
Dang it.
Okay, I meant E-Ty. Yeah. It stands for... Extra-Special Ty. Yup. Don't tell him that.
"Is it finished?" E-Ty asks, glancing over everything.
"I think so-" I'm cut off by a bunch of screaming coming from the direction of Seto's house. I make out the words "THE FREAKING OWL ALWAYS LIES ABOUT THE FREAKING SOFTNESS," but that's all. Uh... Alright then...
"What was that?" E-Ty asks.
"I have no clue," I respond, stepping away from the huge, fiery letters that we've written on the grass. "Do you think the fire will spread?"
E-Ty shrugs. "Even if it does, the damage won't be half as bad as what happened to our dimension." I sigh with relief. Then he adds, "Which is why we should probably get started on the city."
"Wait, what?" I ask with wide eyes. "I thought this was all we were doing!"
"No way, what's the point in just writing my name on the ground with fire? It's like signing your work, Sky. Right now it's just telling everyone that some dude went a step higher with his graffiti skills. We need to actually make some art to go along with the signature."
"So..."
"So we're gonna set the streets of the city on fire. I believe they're made out of coal." (I think this is right, it's been a while since I've been on the server, and I don't have time to check.)
My eyes widen even more than they already have. "Who makes a road out of coal?"
"I don't know. Anyways, after the streets, we'll set some of the houses on fire, but only certain ones."
"Like..?"
"Like this dimension's Jason's house. And maybe that big house with the sugarcane farm in back." (jk don't kill me I promise not to burn down your house Madii)
"Uh..."
"And the statue for the Phoenix girl. And the Town Center, where announcements are posted. And maybe that huge house/hospital/I-don't-even-know that has a really cool heart made of wool on top of it. Possibly that house near the very corner of the map, because then maybe the fence surrounding the city would catch on fire as well. And there's a house by that statue-"
"Uh, I think that's enough," I say nervously. (don't freak I swear I'll try my best not to burn down any of your houses srsly)
"Are you sure? 'Cause I was thinking we could also-"
"THERE HE IS!" someone shouts. They sound like me.
They sound like the girl version of me.
I spin around to face thirty-nine versions of myself running toward us from the direction of Seto's house. "YOU! YOU DIRTY, EVIL, DESPICABLE, SORRY EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING!" she shouts, and several of the Skys behind her scream their agreement.
"U-Uh-"
"YOU KILLED HIM!" one of the boys screeches. It's the one who has budder infused with his blood, I think. "YOU KILLED THE SKY FROM THIS DIMENSION! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?"
