The dimension number for Sky's home dimension translate into a special word. Can any of you crack the code?

Chapter Nineteen: Awkward Filler (WITH FIYAAA)

Time: a few seconds later

Place: the Night Owl's Platform

Evil-Ty's POV (WOAH WHAT. WHAT'S GOING ON.)

"So, should we take the softer landing or the regular one?" Sky asks.

"Hmm... Wait, doesn't the 'softer' landing teleport you to the air above Seto's house in the other dimension?" I ask.

"Uh, yeah, you're right, it does," Sky answers. "And we don't exactly want to be at Seto's house right now since Bodil and Bashur are probably still there."

"Well, how un-soft is the regular landing?"

"How would I know?"

"Didn't you take the normal landing when you and Squid took your first trip to the other dimension?"

"Oh. Oh, uh, yeah, it... I guess it wasn't too bad. We didn't die from it, so..." Sky trails off.

I roll my eyes. "I can see that, Smart One. Come on, we're taking the regular landing."

"Regular landing it is," the Night Owl says. "Wait, wait, wait. Dimension number, please?"

"Are you kidding?" I ask.

"No. It's a new security measure to keep people from running all willy-nilly from dimension to dimension," he replies, glaring at Sky. Sky? What did he do?

I sigh. "Alright, uh... Sky, do you by any chance know the other dimension's number?"

"Nope, guess that means we've gotta stay here!" Sky says excitedly.

I roll my eyes again. "No, I'll remember it eventually. Uh... Okay, okay, I got it. It's 2-21-4-D-E-18. I think. Yeah."

The Night Owl nods. "Yup, you got it. Alright, brace yourselves." My visions spins, and then there's a 'pop' sound. Then I'm falling through the air with Sky, screaming my head off.

"SKY! I THOUGHT YOU SAID WE WOULDN'T DIE!"

"THAT WAS 'CAUSE I THOUGHT WE WOULDN'T DIE!"

"I THINK WE'RE GOING TO DIE!"

"DANG IT! I THINK SO, TOO!"

I crash into the ground- I mean, wait. I crash into the water. And I don't die, because it's water, and it's deep enough to absorb the damage I would have taken from that humongous fall. Phew.

I exhale slowly, glad to be alive. "You okay, Sky?" I ask, glancing around. Where is he? I don't see him... Oh, no, I can't lose Sky, I can't! Not only is he my best friend, but he's also the only family member/friend I have left! No, no, no, I can't lose him! Tears start to gather in my eyes as I jump out of the water and run around the crater we landed in, searching under rubble and shrubbery for my friend. "Sky!" I call. "Sky, please answer me, Sky! Please don't be dead! Oh, Notch..."

"Uh, Ty?" someone asks quietly. I spin around to see Sky hanging from the branch of a tree next to the crater. A smile breaks out on my face, and I sprint toward Sky. He drops down to the ground next to me, and I instantly encase him in a hug.

"Thank Notch, you're okay," I mutter. He pulls away gently and grins slightly.

"Sorry for worrying you. I was sort of frozen in fear, but when I finally opened my eyes, I realized I wasn't dead," Sky explains.

I shake my head, hugging him tighter. "'Sokay. Just don't do it again, you scared me half to death."

He smiles, but he looks guilty. What's up with that? Maybe he's still feeling bad about the whole dimension thing I told him. I was one of the only people in my dimension who knew our history... And yet I went along with all the torturing and evilness. I never went against it like I should have.

"Oh, look, we're right where we needed to be!" I exclaim suddenly, glancing at the tree house about fifty blocks away from the crater Sky and I landed in. Perfect.

"Oh. Uh, yeah. That's great!" Sky says with an incredibly small amount of enthusiasm.

"Hey, cheer up, this'll be fun!"

"What exactly are we going to do?"

"Well, first we're going to burn our names into the ground."

"What!?"

"Or we can just do my name if you want. Or just your name."

"Uh, let's just do your name. Your name is shorter than mine, so it'll be easier."

"Yeah, but I've got a 'y' in my name, that'll be hard- oh, wait, you've got a 'y' in your name, too. Alright, we'll do my name," I say.

"Uh, wait, should we write 'Evil-Ty' instead of just 'Ty?' You know, just so everyone in this dimension understands that it wasn't their Ty who did it," Sky suggests.

"Eh, sure, whatever. Except now we're up to, like, six letters. That's gonna take forever to make."

"FIRE!" Sky screams, running in circles.

"WHERE!?" I ask, looking around quickly.

"NO WHERE, YOU IDIOT, AT LEAST NOT YET!"

"Oh. Oh, okay, yeah, I get it. LET'S GO PUT THE FIRE DOWN, THEN!"

"WOOHOO!" Sky cheers, but he doesn't look genuinely happy at all.

"You alright, Sky?" I ask softly.

He nods, shrugging. "I'm fine. Positively fine."

I raise an eyebrow. "Uh-huh, whatever. Let's go." I lead him to the empty space between the crater and Jerome's tree house. "Mmm, now how are we going to do this..?"

Sky walks to a certain spot in the field. "Here, put the top of the 'E' here... And then... Wait, are we gonna write it in all caps?"

I nod. "Definitely. Okay, so..." I punch the ground, and it catches on fire. "Oh, this is perfect. Alright, you start on the top of the 'E', and I'll do the bottom... Yeah, and we'll meet up in the middle... Mmhmm, oh, yes, this is brilliant."

Erm.

Oops.

Awkward sort-of-filler chapter.

Whoops, my bad.

I'm so sorry, seriously. I'm like, three days later, and it's a boring, short chapter, and UGHGHGHG I JUST WANNA GET TO THE DRAMA, BUT IT REALLY NEEDED THIS LIL CHAPTER WHICH ALSO SORT OF SHOWS HOW NOT-HEARTLESS 'EVIL'-TY IS, AND GUHLAJHGSDGLJSDFKJ

Also I'm sick, so that's why it's late, and why I'm posting at 10:10 on a Wednesday.

UHSGLASHDKLFJSDLKGAHSDKLFJSDLKFJSDKLF *complains more*

Anyways, the #FiftyRulersQ&A is over, it's been posted on Wattpad, so just go put either 'hghrules' or 'fifty rulers Q&A' into the Wattpad search bar and it should pop up.
