"I don't trust her."

"You're just saying that because she giggled when you got eaten by a whale." Penguin chuckles softly. This is rather true though, Kyo did witness Clione get eaten by a whale and she did giggle at the scene.

"YOU MAKE OUT LIKE THAT ISN'T A BAD THING!"

"At least she got you outta there!" Also true, she did (after laughing) and she even made sure not to hurt the large mammal in the process.

"I like her!" Shachi declares proudly with his hand placed over his chest in a pose that almost resembles that of a soldier. "She's a redhead and we stick together!"

"Yeeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that she's a woman." Clione grumbles once again, clearly not quite ready to get over his slight grudge, the male jolting a little when he hears the girl's voice echo from behind him.

"Good afternoon. Card game, is it?" The redhead in question calmly murmurs as her brown orbs scan the deck of cards that Clione is holding, although he's rather quick to hide them from her prying eyes despite the fact that she isn't even playing the game.

"Where the hell did you come from?!"

"The door." She murmurs somewhat monotonously as she takes a seat on the couch.

"You wanna play cards with us, Kyo?" Penguin's question seeming to cut the slight tension in the room, this isn't to be unexpected though, she's new blood and it's nothing she hadn't had to deal with before from members of the Whitebeard pirates. Hell, even Zoro gave her some shit when she first allied with the straw hats (and a few times afterward) this is nothing compared to his distrust at least.

"No, I'm happy as I am, thank you. But I'll be willing to bet Shachi wins, redhead's stick together after all." To that, Shachi grins brightly, earning himself an exasperated sigh from Clione in return. "If it makes you feel any better, Cyclone, I'm very sorry I laughed at the hilarious sight of you being gobbled up by a whale. I didn't realize it'd upset you so much."

"My name is Cli--OF COURSE IT WOULD UPSET ME, YOU PSYCHOPATH!"

"I see. My apologies, Cli."

"Clione!"

All the redhead responds with is a quiet hum, her eyes trailing off toward the rest of the crew, they're all going about their business but it doesn't seem like any of them are injured or need her assistance in any way so she has to wonder why she's still here.

Sure, they're doctors and her blood abilities might prove useful to them sometimes but these people seem highly capable of taking care of themselves.

But she concludes that she probably shouldn't complain too much about her situation. After all, she has her heart back now and that's all that should matter, Trafalgar had returned it once she heard him out so she really got off lucky there.

Although she still can't figure out why Law would think she'd be of any use to him or his crew, she couldn't help anybody at Marineford. Though it's possible that he doesn't even know she was there, many people got caught up in that battle, after all. She would've been easy to overlook.

There was so much going on at that place.

Could I have helped more if I wasn't so easily distracted?

A soft pat on her shoulder pulls Kyo out of her thoughtful state, drawing her gaze toward a certain polar bear.

"Uh-hi! Captain wanted me to make sure you're getting along with the crew!"

He wants you to make sure I'm not trying to kill anybody, you mean...

"Oh yeah, we're all best friends over here."

Bepo nervously fidgets at her comment, seemingly picking up on the slight sarcasm in her tone as he rubs the back of his nape with his paw. "I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable but they'll warm up to you! I promise!"

"No need to make any promises with me...Bepo, wasn't it? Just tell me about that big guy over there." The redhead very subtly points her thumb in the general direction of the Heart Pirate's largest crew member, making sure to keep her brown orbs focused solely on Bepo in the process.

"Huh? Oh, that's Jean Bart! He used to be a pirate captain, have you met him before?"

The information causes the girl to frown thoughtfully as she tries to think back to any information she may have gathered on the man previously but she soon falls flat and shrugs it off.

"I should think I've seen him in a newspaper but I've never formally met him...at least, I don't think I have. What can you tell me about his previous crew?"

Best to make sure I'm not brushing elbows with any of papa's old enemies.

"Huh? I-I don't really know much about that, I'm sorry! Captain will though, you should ask him!"

"Of course...thank you."

As if Trafalgar's going to tell me anything...but I suppose quizzing him will give me something to do, at least.
