A Voice Behind

When into sorrow my soul sinks
When a sound of despair my heart rings

I'm strongly pulled to do my best
By a voice that says
"There is still hope, you dare not quit"

When chains of sorrow surrounds me
When in myself I feel like a prisoner

I'm strengthened to face life with it's struggles
By a voice that says
"There is still hope, you dare not quit"

When I just feel like crying out loud
When all my worries rise like a tempest

I'm guarded safe like a bird into it's nest
By a voice that says
"There is still hope, you dare not quit"

From all my fears, I now am free
I'm glad and strong, I can clearly see
But can anyone tell me

Is it from the east or the west
That I hear the voice
"There is still hope, you dare not quit"?

With courage and hope, I now live
Because of the voice that says
"There is still hope, you dare not quit"

It's my loving God, the unseen guest
The one who has always been with me

My silent guardian angel
And He's the one who says
"There is still hope, you dare not quit."

I wrote this for The Roses Poetry Contest. Its kinda religious. Hope you like it.
