Four months passed. Four hard months. Murphy ended up going back to normal-whatever that was for him-and he stopped running away.

I'm doing great. The baby is healthy, I've felt it move, and it's growing rapidly. I'm about 35 weeks, if my calculations were correct. Since I left Blackwell, I've had a hard time figuring out how far along I am. 10K and I have been thinking of names, but we haven't decided yet.

We kept moving, never staying in one spot

We kept moving, never staying in one spot. We did this because there were people still looking for Murphy. People still believed he could turn more people into blends, but Sun Mei said his immunity to the zombie virus was gone and he was human again.

His hair had turned back to brown and his skin was pink again. His eyes were dark brown and he looked cleaner than he used to. He was still an ass, that didn't change, but ever since he found out I was pregnant, he was nicer and helped out with stuff.

"Can we stop for a minute?" I gasped.

We'd been walking since dawn. It was now noon and my feet and legs were killing me. My body was swelling from pregnancy weight and water and it was beginning to become a pain in the ass.

"We'll rest for five minutes," Warren said. "Then we gotta keep moving."

"I just need to rest," I sighed, sitting down on a rock. "My feet are killing me."

"10K, help me make sure she's okay," Doc said.

10K say next to me and held my hand. I wiped sweat off my brow and nodded at him, letting him know I was okay.

"I'm fine," I lied. I didn't want him to worry about me. "I'm just tired."

"You'll let me know if anything is wrong, right?" He asked.

"Of course I will." I said.

The others rested, too. They tried giving 10K and I some space before the five minutes were up and we had to move again.

I grunted as I stood up from the rock. I stretched out my back and caught up with the others.

Nighttime fell. 10K and I took our spot a little ways away from the rest, but still close enough to the fire. 10K went to go get firewood while I laid on my side, staring into the flames of the fire.

I saw Jon's face in the fire. I hadn't forgotten about him. He was always with me, even though he was dead. I missed him a lot and I wondered where he was...

I thought about my baby and how it was doing. I wondered about the gender. I had always wanted a son growing up. I hoped it was a boy, but something told me it was a girl. Either way, I knew I would love this baby with all my heart.

10K's hands wrapping around my waist brought me back to reality. He nuzzled his face into my neck and softly kissed me.

"What're you thinking about?" He whispered.
