Balloons and Bowling

I woke up in the morning, fresh as a daisy. As for the room, not so fresh. It stunk of vinegar and fat from the chips that were leftover from last night. I was the first up so I went in a quick shower and then just lay on my bed, that I was sharing with Chris, and played on my phone. All of a sudden, I heard a loud knock at the door. I got up, still in my kermit the frog top and shorts pyjamas, and answered it. Standing there in tight shorts and a cropped top was Jenna, Casey's neighbor.

"Oh, I thought this was Macaulay's room?" She said in shock

"It is" I answered,

"Then why are you here?"

"Because we're sharing the room"

"Wait" she stepped back, "are you his girlfriend?"

I sighed, "no. I'm not"

"Then why are you sharing a room?"

"Because we're best friends"

"That's pretty weird. Are you two sharing a bed as well?"

"No, we're not. I'm sharing a bed with my boyfriend" I said slowly

"Oh" she smiled, "you had me worried there for a second"

"Why were you worried? You've only known him for a day"

"Yeah but I like him"

"You can't like a guy after a day!"

"Maddy?" Titan stretched as he approached the door only in his boxers, "who's at the.....oh hey Jenna"

"Hi!" She exclaimed, "I thought that we could get some brunch before the surfing lesson"

"Sure. Let me just change first" Titan turned around

"Do you want to come in?" I sighed

"Yeah!" She exclaimed. Wow. She's far too energetic for 11am

"You can just sit on the sofa if you like" I closed the door

"Okay, thanks"

"Where's Chris?" I asked Titan as he pulled on some shorts and a t- shirt

"Shower" he stated. A few seconds later, Chris walked from the bathroom

"Morning babe" Chris said as he came over and gave me a kiss

"Good morning to you too Chris" Titan smirked

"Hey" Chris said, "Jenna, isn't it?"

"Yup! That's me! Jenna Anne Curtis. But everybody just calls me Jenna"

"She's very hyper for this time of morning" Chris muttered to me

"I know" I muttered, "weirdo"

"Okay guys, we're off to get some brunch and then for a surf" Titan said as Jenna emerged from the sofa and started to walk by his side, "see you guys later on"

"Wait, so are you not coming bowling with us?"

"Uh, what time are you going at"

"We've booked for 3pm"

"Well yeah, I'll be there"

"What about our surfing lesson?" Jenna frowned

"Yeah it's fine. We'll do that and I'll be back in time for bowling" Titan said as he opened the door, "see you guys later"
