Yoongi and jimin were sitting silently with Yoongi driving and jimin looking out of the window and into the silent night, but Yoongi decides to break the silence
"so, where else do you work?" Yoongi asks remembering tae saying that jimin works at other places along with the bar
"oh! I work at the supermarket two blocks from my apartment and then i assist my dance teacher two days a week when I don't have classes" jimin explains
"so you get enough money to pay your fees from all of these" jimin looks at the elder, confused of why was he so interested in his boring life but Yoongi takes his stare in an entirely different concept
"oh I am so sorry, I didn't mean to prode your personal life....i just....you don't have to answer that" Yoongi clarifies
"I am on scholarship" comes jimin's voice, Yoongi briefly looks at jimin confused, then goes back to look at the road and then realizes that the younger just answered his previous question
"oh ok" Yoongi wanted to ask further but he didn't want to make the young boy feel uncomfortable so he remained silent after that.
They reach the supermarket and jimin gets out of the car and turn to Yoongi who was out too
"thank you Yoongi-shii....i can go from here" jimin
"jimin, number two....i will drop you home coz I promised tae that I will"
Jimin looks at the elder confused "what's number 1?"
"call me hyung, this Yoongi-shii makes me feel old, very old" jimin smiles and his eyes turn into crescents which makes Yoongi smile too
"ok hyung, I'll be back in a few" jimin starts to walk but stops again and turns to the elder "hyung, you come inside, its getting cold" saying that he forwards his hand to the elder and wiggles his fingers which were peeking out from his sweater paws as if asking the elder to take it and Yoongi just smiles and takes his hand and they walk in, once inside jimin bows to the person clad in a suit...may be the manager and then goes to the staff only area leaving Yoongi alone who starts looking around and he decides to pick some things
Once he was done picking some chips for Namjoon, some cans of sprite for Hoseok and some gummy candies for Jungkook, he was smiling ear to ear thinking about their old days where Namjoon would whine for his cinnamon chips and Jungkook would offer his gummy candies to the elder which Namjoon would smile and take even if he never liked them. Even if we don't realize, we do make a lot of memories and we only realize it when they are nothing but good memories which makes us laugh and cry at the same time
He gives a deep shaky sigh and turns to pick some steak for himself when he sees jimin looking at him while leaning on the isle next to him with a big smile, Yoongi raises his eyebrow
"saw you smiling looking at some gummy candy which is totally strange for an old man like you" Yoongi rolls his eyes but smiles "was dwelling on some good memory kiddo"
He walks away to buy some steak
"heyy....i am not a kiddo" jimin follows him
"and I am not an old man" Yoongi smirks and goes to the billing section and gets it all billed
"oh! So it was for revenge purpose" jimin smirks while reaching the billing
"I don't do revenge kiddo" he grabs his things and starts walking out but he hears the cashier asking jimin
"is that your boyfriend? He looks hot" Yoongi just smirks at jimins panicked reply "no he is not and shh... how many times have I told you...you are too loud victor" saying that jimin runs after Yoongi who was already in his driver's seat
