WE FALL APART, AS IT GETS DARK

I called Dante the day before and talked to him all night, but it was the day after leaving his house and I had school again.
Beverly picked me up and saw what I was wearing.
"Ally, is that-" She said, but I cut her off.
"Yes it's his sweatshirt." I said and she smirked at me.
The same yellow one he wore, when we met.
But this time it wasn't filled with spilt alcohol.
"Wow, weren't you and him fighting like a little bit ago?" She said confused.
"Yeah, but it's gone now. Also, me and Audrey aren't too close now." I mentioned and Beverly turned her head in confusion.
"Oh." She didn't ask questions and just pulled into the parking lot of the school.
I got out of the car and walked with her towards the entrance.
"Ally." I heard his voice call out my name and it sounded amazing.
I turned around and watched him jog towards us.
He grabbed my hand and looked down at me.
"Hey loser." I said teasing him and smiling.
"Wow, are you gonna use the same insult on me everyday?" Dante said, sarcastically pretending to be offended.
"Maybe." I said going with his joke, while Beverly pretended to gag.
"Well, bye lovebirds." She teased and walked down to the senior hallway.
I blushed slightly, but tried to pull it off.
"Anyways, Dante wanna hang out after school?
My dad's coming back from a business trip today." I smiled and offered.
"You want me to meet your dad?" He said and looked surprised.
"I mean, only if you want to." I said softly squeezing his hand in an assuring way.
"Don't worry, Dante. He won't kill you." I said laughing and he nervously chuckled along with me.
"I'll see ya, D." I said smiling and letting go of his hand.
"See ya around, al." He said and walked away to his friends.
I went to my locker and immediately Ashley came up to me.
"You made up with Dante and you both missed school on the same day, suspicious?" She smirked at me and watched me take my binders out of my locker.
"Oh jeez, you too?" I said in joking annoyance.
"Did our apology plan work?" She asked in eagerness.
"I didn't even think of it. I just got up and walked to his house." I admitted.
We walked to health class and I sat right next to Dante.
"Heyo, loser." I teased, yet again.
"Heyo, bighead." He teased and made me laugh.
