His phone started ringing as he reached his car he knew who it was before he answered. "Hi Boss, yes sorry about that, yes I am.... yes I'm on my way... I'll be there this afternoon."

Hardly a word in edgewise... oh well he'd soon find out the surprise, that was mentioned. May be the reporter thing would have been dealt with... while he was away. Who knew... knowing his luck....

Layla dialed the number for what could have been the hundredth time praying it would be answered. Emre had just returned home from work.

"Emre I'm worried, she hasn't called ...."

"Relax love, she did say that she might not be able to..."

"I realise that, but she could have at least let us known she reached. I've tried her mobile but it's not getting through." rubbing her already tired eyes. Zehra had kept her up for the past few nights and she was in a real state.

It was the weekend and Emre had promised that he would take over tonight. More likely he'd sleep right through it, poor love he did his best Layla thought... why he stayed with her, all she gave him was trouble. She had a lot of baggage....sometimes she herself found it difficult.

Emre came over to her and took her in his arms... massaging her back. "Don't worry love she'll call soon, you'll see and she'll be back in a few days. She can't stay away for long. It'll all be fine, your worrying would have been over nothing. " He did his best to reassure her while trying not to show concern in his voice.

It had never been this long since the girls had spoken to each other. If they couldn't see each other they would communicate over the phone at least a couple of times in the day.

What...it had been five days since she had gone away. She had said that she may not have been able to contact them but for this long...was so unlike her.

"What should I do Emre?"

"Look Layla, I know you hate me saying this but she is an adult...more than capable of looking after herself."

"No she's not... I mean... she is but what if something's happened to her..."

"Love...you can't live her life for her. Now come on try and get some rest it won't make matters better if you're run down."

"I think I'll give Ayhan a call...in case she was unable to reach us."

Emre knew better than to try and stop her...if he didn't know better...she would soon be on the way to report a missing person's report at the local police station.

It seemed to be ages since she had been put in the room, she had forgotten what day it was, the darkness that surrounded her was the most frightened she had ever been in her life. She felt alone, there was no way out. No one would know she was missing, she had told everyone she was going away.

She had also made it clear that within that time she would be out of reach, God she would probably be found floating in the nearest river...dead. The whole mess was all her fault, what was going to happen? This time she had gone too far and there was only one way out...the odds were not in her favor.

She heard footsteps....they were getting closer, she could hear voices and they were definitely heading her way. The door was opened and she could see three shadows, her eyes were getting used to the light....she was squinting.

She could barely see...but after a few seconds she recognised two of the men as the ones who had bought her here and the one who had slapped her.

When her eyes were focusing on the third man she was shocked. She couldn't believe it...still trying to get her head around it. She could hardly move, from the pain all over her body.

Using the little strength she had. "You B*****d, how cou..." she cursed at him, thankfully her focus was all over the place...so they didn't think anything of it.

Thinking she's talking to them all....Denho stepped forward, he gave her a backhanded slap.... that sent her reeling.

Still Shocked by discovering that the reporter was Sanem. Can started to panic on the inside. What the hell...he'd wished the reporter had been dealt with before he came back...now this.
After seeing Denho attack her...Can put his hands into fists by his side....fighting his every urge to stop his cover from being blown...and having them both ending up dead.

"She's all yours Sedat."

They left the room... he had to be careful, as he was being watched. She hasn't moved since Denho slapped her. He knelt down to her... gently touching her face she been knocked out. "Oh God what I'm going to do" he thought "I can't leave her like this. They're going to kill her and not give it a second thought."

Getting down as close to her ear as if checking her breathing... he whispers. Not knowing if she would hear him...but he had to reassure her.

"I'm sorry Sanem; listen it's not what it seems. I'm going to get you out of here, please just hang on."

As he was leaving the room, he hears her whimper "My baby...please."
