At the boarding house. 

I opened the front door and walked into my house.

Everything was the same as always. Thank god.

I yelled "Honey, i'm home!"

No answer. to be fair it pretty early and i guess they were still sleeping. 

I rolled my eyes annoyed and put some music on and turned it on full volume. The music was blasting through the whole house. 

Suddenly a sleepy Stefan was standing in the living room, completely tired "What the h--"

He froze completely when he saw me. 

I smirked "hello, brother"

He chuckled "i'm dreaming"

I smiled "Well, i hope for you that i'm not a nightmare"

He chuckled and walked over to me "you're back, Y/N"

I smiled and hugged him "Of course"

Suddenly Damon walked into the living room, pissed off "Stefan, what the hell? it's morning and you're alre-"

He froze in place when he saw me "you've got to be kidding me"

I smirked "hey, Damon"

He speeded to me and hugged me. 

I laughed and hugged him back. 

Damon "What are you doing back here?"

Me "Heard you and Stefan were having a hard time without me"

Damon looked at Stefan who looked at him. 

Stefan "Where were you?"

Me"South Africa"

Stefan "Alone? or were you with...you know-"

Damon "Elijah "

Me "alone"

Stefan "This whole time?"

I nodded "Yes, Stefan, this whole time"

Stefan "If we had known were you were we would've stopped by"

I rolled my eyes "yeah, because i'm so much more important to you than ruining Mystic Falls"

Damon sighed "I think this conversation is gonna need a drink"

Me "Forget the drink, i want the whole bottle"

Stefan cracked a smile.

Damon nodded "be right back"

We were sitting on the sofas, catching up with each other. 

Stefan "So what happened after you left town with Elijah?"

Me "We moved back to New Orleans. Then there happened a lots of shit and then i decided to make a very long vaca in South Africa"

Damon "Without Elijah ?"

I nodded "Yes, Damon, without Elijah"

Stefan "But you're still dating, right?"

I shook my head amused and took a sip of my bottle "hell no"

Damon "what happened ?"

Me "Doesn't matter. "

He nodded.
