I screamed sitting up. I looked around trying to calm my breath. 

Suddenly Damon walked inside and i jerked back. 

Damon looked at me worried "What's wrong?"

I just looked at him. 

Damon "another nightmare?"

I shook my head. I felt like i couldn't breath. I couldn't breath!

Damon ran to me and sat down next to me. 

Damon took my face in his hands "Hey, hey, hey, hey, look at me"

I looked at him. 

Damon "try to breath"

I shook my head "i can-t "

Damon cursed "damn it"

I really couldn't breath.

Damon "Follow my actions, okay?"

I nodded. 

Damon inhaled deep "inhale deep"

I inhaled deep.

Damon breathed out "and now out"

I breathed out. 

Damon nodded "good. Now again. breath"

I breathed in. 

Damon "and now out"

I breathed out. I did that a few more times and calmed down. 

Damon breathed out relieved "thank god"

He hugged me. 

Damon put his chin on my head "i'm so sorry, Y/N"

I felt tears running down my cheeks "It feels like i've never left there. Like i'm still getting tortured"

Damon looked at me and put his hands on my cheeks "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, you are save. I promise you that i will never let anything like that ever happen to you again"

I shook my head "you can't promise me that"

Damon "watch me. Because you're not gonna get rid of me so easily"

I looked into his eyes .He was saying the truth. 

I nodded. 

Damon kissed my forehead and then hugged me again. 

Damon kissed my hair "i'm here. I'll always be here"
