Up on the low wall, Jisung squinted his eyes at the bright haired boy. Who was he?

"He saw us, didn't he?" Felix stated more than asked and Jisung exhaled, releasing the hold he had on their two energy flows, making them visible again. He hummed in doubt, head tilting to the side as he wrapped his arms around the blond's waist.

"I doubt that. Only another Ripper would see us. But this one is not. Either he felt us or he is very clever and noticed our shadows." he commented with a slight smirk. He would have to keep an eye on this one.

Felix noted his expression and smirked, turning back to face the entrance gates. "You like him."

Jisung shrugged, fingers drumming against Felix's rib cage as his smirk widened. "He is cute. And cunning. But there's still innocence in him." he declared, his eyes shifting a very pale pink color. He stared at the boy, who was now walking away with the rest of his group, towards the school's entrance. "His energy is mostly pure and light. There's a part of darkness flowing through his veins though... But it has not tainted him yet. I think it's mild darkness." he chuckled, eyes shifting back to their usual brown as he looked back down at Felix. The boy frowned at him and raised a hand to his cheek.

"Don't use your power carelessly Ji. I don't want you to become blind." Felix muttered sincerely, fingertips worriedly brushing over his closed eyelid.

Jisung merely shrugged and smiled at his best friend, hand coming over his own. "I don't care, and you know it Lix. This witch's curse will never stop me from using my gifts. To hell, if I end up blind." he chuckled darkly, internally swearing like a sailor at that witch whom he never saw once in his life but who decided it would be a great idea to curse him while he was in his mother's belly for some reasons, rendering him blinder while and the more he used his powers – thank god, the witch was "kind enough" so that the curse wore off each time he stopped using his powers, meaning he could perfectly see with his normal brown eyes no matter what. Basically, it was just a pain in the ass, but Jisung was never known to abide by the rules and bend under fear, so he was pretty much keen on using his powers as he pleased, no matter the consequences, and he showed it to Felix by grinning proudly.

Felix huffed in exasperation but his smile betrayed him. "You're impossible. And here I thought summer break had changed you." he sighed in fake disappointment as he leaped off Jisung and dived down the ground in a poof of gray smoke.

Jisung groaned and threw his arms in the air. "Lee Yongbok stop doing that!" he yelled, jumping off the low wall with an expertise only someone who had done that so many times would possess. His feet hit the ground and he glowered at the blond mop of hair reappearing a few meters away, on the stairs leading up to the school's entrance. Students passing by glanced at the duo with amusement, already used to their antics. But some first years passing by looked at them in a mix of awe and fear that amused Felix to no end. Jisung on the other hand only stomped forward and grumpily bumped into the blond.

"You're giving me motion sickness Felix. Motion sickness." he grumbled, pausing in front of him to catch his breath. Felix only cooed, totally amused.

"C'mon don't sulk, I'm sorry Ji!" he whined, laughing as he hugged his arm and began to march up.

"You never are Felix. Never." Jisung pointed out with a pout, and Felix laughed some more.

"You're right. But c'mon, let's get settled in. I want to see Lia, I missed her so much!"

At that, Jisung's eyes lit up and he ran up the stairs, dragging a yelping Felix behind him.
