Laughing with our eyes closed
About what I don't know
Just the presence of each other
Is what makes the night come alive
They didn't get the best of us
like they said they would
Our souls still pure our hearts still strong
It's just a matter of time
Before one of us falls behind
Lacking the strength for the real world ahead
Darling I know that won't be me
The way we danced in the midnight sky
Leaving all our thoughts and troubles behind
Will we leave these memories behind?
Our bodies were young our minds were old
We only had each other to get through this disaster
Love was something we could not feel
Only in our dreams is where our true peace will be

Only in time is where our true disaster will lie
