The path to camp was clear well cut out, it'd be impossible to get lost of lose track. I could see camp from the top of the hill I was standing on, yet it felt so far.

"Let's get going," I breathed, beginning to walk.

Without the flashlights, we wouldn't be able to see anything. The moon was full tonight but was covered by the tree tops looming over us. Snap. I flinched at the sound. It's okay, Dev, it's just a bunny. A cute little bunny with a cotton tale. A soft gust of wind blew against us, nothing rough or cold but none the less, it sent a chill down my spine. The sound of rustling leaves came from behind is. We all froze. Too scared to look behind. Too scared to move. The rustling behind us became more intense. And something jumped out. All of us released screams that would imply bloody murder. I turned to the creature, flashing my light to a...

Bunny. All of us released sighs. See, Dev,it's just a bunny. Tiffany released a ear splitting scream pushing me aside and making a run for it. I didn't know what she was running from, but I wasn't gonna wait to find out. I ran after her like my life depended on it, and for all I know, it probably did. The rest of the girls weren't far behind me. The only sounds that surrounded me were crickets, rustling, the feet of other terrified girls and... laughter? I slowed down to see Tiffany tipping over holding her stomach.

"What the fuck Tif?" Nicole frowned clearly upset.

"Y'all were walking waaay too slow, I thought maybe I could speed things up a bit." Tiffany smirked in amusement.

Not bothering to continue conversation, I rolled my eyes and moved along. The Cafeteria was right across the mini 2 foot bridge. As I got closer, I could make out a tall silhouette with curly hair, Xander.

"Xander?" I said.

"Ah, you finally decided to show up." He smirked.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever, lead us to the cave," Nicole commanded.

He turned around the corner motioning us to follow, we did. We were going east towards the stream. He led us over the bridge and into the tree line where untamed plants and animals lurked. Nervous I grabbed the hand next to me. I'm not sure who's hand it was but it didn't really matter.

"We're almost there, c'mon," Xander whispered over his shoulder.

Snap, I froze, making Nicole bump into me.

"What's the deal Devi-?".

SNAP. She stopped mid sentence clearly hearing it, too. SNAP! This time it was closer, louder. SNAP!! Still holding onto whoever's hand I was holding, I began to speed walk eager to get away from the sound and whatever was causing it. When I was right on Xander's heels, the bush next to me rustled. All of us froze, even Xander.

"I-I think we should head back," he stuttered.

GRRRRRRRR!!! The growl caused the color to leave my face. This was a bad idea. We shouldn't have left. This is bad. This is really, really bad. I'm in the woods, vulnerable. Being stalked by a wild animal. The rustling and growling grew louder and more intense

"Gotcha!" Two pairs of arms grabbed me from behind and picked me up.

Startled I scream kicking my attacker, where the sun don't shine. (if you know what I mean) Letting me go, my attacker doubled over in pain. While Xander did too BUT in laughter rather than in pain.

"You should have seen your faces!"
