jungkook smiled at the paper in his hands softly, rereading the sweet letter from yoongi.
just two more days, he told himself and tucked the letter away safely into his favorite folder containing all the other letters from yoongi he had received in the past.
the thought of not being alone this summer made him feel a little more hopeful, but he soon realized that after summer was over and yoongi was off to some college that he had gotten accepted into, he was going to be all alone again.
jungkook's smile had faltered a bit and he put his head down onto his table.
he had agreed to stay with yoongi without really thinking about the consequences, situation, or the future and that's where he decided he failed. he was thinking in the moment and he probably shouldn't have done that.
maybe it wasn't too late to tell yoongi he changed his mind about moving in with him. he'd just be a huge burden anyways.
that's the last thing he wanted.
maybe. just maybe...
this was all a big mistake.
