Chapter Sixteen

“I’m not child, angel.” Xavier crossed his arms.

“Well, it doesn’t seem you understand the human relationships, so it’s not my fault. So I’m not girlfriend.”

“She’s right.” My mother passed by us. “It doesn’t matter if you are werewolf or not, ask before its official.”

“But-”

“No buts, Xavier. Ask before its official.” I pointed my finger at him and then left to my room leaving Xavier speechless.

“She did not say that.” I said as left to her room.

“Sorry man, but sunflower has a point.” Lake sided with Adeline.

“Hey, expected you to be on my side.”

“Well, yeah that’s true, but my sister is human and not a werewolf so it’s a different scene.” Lake shrugged.

“Addy!” I heard Valentina storm in the house followed by Joshua. “Why are you late?!” She then stopped in her tracks and looked at me and Lake.

“What are you doing here?” She asked me.

“Now, now, my valentine. Please behave, he’s your Alpha.” Joshua put his arm around Valentina’s waist and she blushed.

“Yeah, whatever.” She huffed and went to Addy’s room and Joshua stayed behind.

“Whoa. Please tell me that was dream.” I heard Travis say.

“No it wasn’t.” Lake said in astonishment.

“No one is able to calm her down except Addy.” Travis said as he put the dirty dishes in the sink.

“Joshua how did you tame Valentina?” I asked him.

Joshua chuckled. “It’s a secret.”

“She would always yell back if someone besides Addy tries to calm her down. She has a short temper.” Travis said as he rubbed his chest. We gave ‘o’ expression.

“So Travis, are you okay with Xavier and Adeline being mates?” Joshua asked him.

“Well…it’s awkward that’s for sure. Uh, I guess I’m still processing this. Even though I really want to punch Xavier in the face.” He lifted his fist up.

“Hey, it’s the Moon Goddess decision, okay? My angel is meant for me.”

“Whatever.”

“Do you think I should take my angel on a date?” I asked them.

“Yeah.” Lake and Joshua said together.

“Not.” As expected from Travis.

“I’m just going to ignore you Travis.”

“Still a no.” Travis said. This guy is way over protective brother.

“Anyways, should I take her in romantic dinner next to the lake?”

“No, you can’t have dinner next to me?” Lake laughed.

“Ah, I get it.” We laughed together.

“Back to the romantic date, uhh, let’s see, what does she like?”

“Korean food.” Travis said. “That’s what she likes the most.”

“Korean food?”

“Yeah, she’s into the Korean culture. She likes k-pop, Korean dramas, and Korean movies. I’m into it too, but not that into it.”

“So…?”

“Don’t worry I’ll help you with Korean romantic songs or English maybe. And I’ll help you with the Korean food or Italian food. She’s okay with Italian food.”

“Alright then I’m thinking it would be good on a Friday.” I said.

“Uh sorry that’s not going to happen.”

“Why not?”

“She doesn’t want to miss a new episode of High School Love On.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, but Saturday is fine and it’s perfect fit for her schedule.”

“Ugh, fine.” I have the weirdest mate ever, but that what makes her unique. And I love her.
