Cheryl's POV
I walk into the student lounge to find my girlfriend to take a nap after school so we can go out tonight, and I do find her- with my ex.
"What did you say your name was?" Toni asks a little uneasy
"I didn't," Heather says teasingly touching Toni's hand
Toni laughs uncomfortably
"Heather Hansen,"
"Cool, I'm Toni," she says
"That's a pretty name," Heather flirts
"Hey babe," I say
"Oh hey Cher this is Heather Hansen, from.."
"Centerville," I cut off "I know,"
"Do you two know each other?" Toni asks confused
"Babe look at me and connect the dots faster,"
She thinks for a minute.
"Ohhhhhhhhhh," She half laughs "you're the Heather,"
"The love of your life?" She asks
"My girlfriends ex," Toni snips
"Babe, you said we could go?" I say
"Ya of course Cher, I was waiting for you," she says standing up and grabbing my hand
"It was nice meeting you Heather,"
"Pleasure was all mine,"
We leave.
"Where are going again?" She asks "I don't wanna do homework right now,"
"I wanna nap and get away from that she devil,"
"Where are we napping?"
"Home,"
"Ok, can I drive?"
"Of course baby,"
I give her the keys and she drives home.
"What were you and Heather talking about?" I ask snuggling into her side
"She just sat next to me and started talking, and talking and talking. I'm not an approachable person so I was really confused,"
"We're you just sitting alone?" I ask "not doing anything,"
"Playing with my switchblade," she says
"Psycho," I laugh
"Ya pretty much,"
We don't even end up napping, just watching tv and talking.
"You know I love you right?" She asks
"Of course I know that," I say looking up at her "I love you too,"
"You just got really defensive and I didn't know if it was me or if I did something,"
"No no baby," I sigh "that's just me being stupid jealous, I'm sorry,"
"It's no problem. Actually it was kinda cute,"
"Oh?" I smirk
"Mhm,"
She kisses me and I giggle.
"Let's go out for dinner," she says
"Ok," I say getting up
We head to Pops and sit on the same side of our usual booth. She pulls my legs on top of hers and we share a milkshake while we wait for our food.
"Am I interrupting?" Heather asks sitting down
"Kinda, actually, we're on a date," Toni says putting her arm around my shoulder
She rolls her eyes and stays anyways.
"Give me 24 hours and I can prove I'm better than Cheryl,"
"24 seconds," Toni says amusing her
She rambles
"And time," Toni say "I didn't understand a word you said I was too distracted by this cutie,"
She kisses my cheek and I giggle
"Well you know Cheryl used to do heroine?" She says
Embarrassed I purse my lips and nod.
"I did it once when you held me down and forced a needle in my arm," I say "and Toni knows that,"
"Toni forgot about that but knew there was a reason to beat you up," Toni says standing up and cracking her knuckles
"You're 4 feet tall," she laughs
"I'm 5'3"," toni spits "and still growing,"
"No you aren't babe," I sigh
"Whatever I'm still gunna beat your ass,"
Toni literally almost murders Heather
And she was never seen in Riverdale again
