I closed my computer and paced in the kitchen. Why was I freaking out about this? I knew this would happen sooner or later, and I guess the universe decided SOONER.
I sighed. I couldn't decide if I should call Niall. He probably knows by now. But what if he doesn't even care?
I went down to the beach with Cash to try to get my mind off of it. I changed into my light pink bikini and dove into the cold water. I remember when we first came here, I was terrifed, because it was the first time I had been to the ocean. And sharks were like my phobia. They still were, but I wasn't that scared to swim anymore. I just didn't swim that far from the shore.
I threw a ball with Cash and tried to cool down for a while. Then I got back on shore and sat on my towel. I always prefered sun-drying. I saw Niall had called me, and I took a deep breath. I called him back.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey," I responded, but my voice sounded a little shaky.
"Love, I'm so sorry about what happened. The press is crazy with this stuff."
"It's fine, really," I responded, sitting criss cross. "I mean, I knew it was gonna get out eventually."
He sighed, and I heard hurt in his voice. Which hurt me. "I know, but...it's like you can never have a normal relationship with me. We can't be one of those couples who can walk the streets of the city without having cameras flashing around us. And theres always the fans, some great and some who just can get crazy and be so mean to our girlfriends....."
"Niall, please," I said. I was almost in tears. I hated hearing him like this. I wanted to see his face. "It's okay. I..." I took a deep breath. "I don't want to be a normal couple. I want to be with you."
I knew he was smiling on the other side. "Then turn around."
