"You know I'd want you to come, but we are just so busy," My brother said. That's like the fifteenth hundred time he's said that in the past three months. His brown, curly hair blew in the wind and his green eyes stared at me. "When we get free, I promise you can come. I feel so bad that you haven't even met them yet."
"It's okay," I said yet again. But in my head, I wanted to reach out and shake my brother until he would let me come meet the boys.
They'd been a band for two years now, and I still haven't met them. The times they came to my house I "coincidently" wasn't home. Don't know how fate worked that out.
Harry Styles. Yep, that was my brother. Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan were the other british/irish guys in his band. The band One Direction. That was now just about known in every freakin corner of the world. And who was I? Her lame sister that nobody knew about. But I wasn't jealous or anything. I never wanted to be famous. In fact, I had horrible stage fright. No way I could stand in front of a million teenage girls screaming and sing my soul out. I barely made it in the shower. And I wasn't asking my brother- well, begging my brother- to meet the boys so I could fan over them like the billion other girls- even my best friends- I had a motive. I wanted to see....him.
"Are you sure?" He replied.
"Yeah," I replied, shrugging. I looked out at the sunset on the ocean and dug my feet harder into the almost white sand. "I get that you are really busy."
He gave me a slight grin and his dimples showed. "Thanks, sis. See you later?"
"Sure," I replied, and watched him walk down the shore.
