Morning Perks

"Good morning everyone it's a bright and sunny August day, about 80 degrees here in New York City, and today we have a great show!" The perky, blonde lady reported with a pearly smile. "Later, we will be talking to some local grocers about the concern going on with bacteria in food, but first, it's your weather report with Greg!"

The lady stopped smiling immediatley and went to murmuring with a girl next to her. I was in a trance, and Niall's hand brushing against mine. "They want us to stand over here," He said smoothly, guiding me over to an area right next to the stage. I couldn't ignore the flipping sensation in my stomach.

"You seem realllly nervous," Niall, said smiling. 

I tried to laugh a little. "Ya, I guess I am."

"Don't worry,' He said, taking my hand in both of his. "They'll love you." He kissed me, and it was as if time froze.

"You guys are on!" A crew man said, making us pull apart. I smiled and looked back at the boys, who gave us both thumbs up.

"Today we have two very special guests that have been a big hit lately in media," An African-American report said, who I recognized from my mom watching. She was sitting on a couch and there was two empty couch seats next to her. "One of them is in a multi-platium selling British/Irish boyband, and the other has just recently become known by dating them. Here's One Direction member Niall Horan and his new girlfriend, Courtney Styles!"

Niall gave me one more quick kiss, grabbed my hand, and together we walked onstage. I waved to the camera, feeilng awkward since there was no one there except the crew people, and sat down next to Niall, fixing my hair. I realized some of my nerves were gone, but then I remembered that anyone could be watching me through the world...

"It's great to see you again, Niall, and it's great to meet you!" The reporter said, smiling. I felt bad that I didn't know her name.

"You too," Niall and I both said at the same time, and we both laughed a little, which made the reporter smile again.

"You too are an amazingly cute couple," She said. "And Courtney you're so beautiful."

"Thank you," I blushed, and Niall looked right at me, and it sent a shiver. 

"And you're also the younger sister of Harry Styles, right?" She continued.

I nodded, wondering if my lipstick had smeared yet. "Wish I was older though, then I could tease him around." I brought my accent out a little more than intended, but it made the reporter smile and laugh. I looked past her and saw Harry glaring at me playfully.

"So, how did you meet, when did you start dating? I know there were rumours going around but none of us really was sure until the magazine hit and you didn't hide it."

Niall spoke up for this one, his glaze not wavering, still right at me. I felt his hand sneak over and openly squeeze my thigh, and I smiled at him. "We met at a recording, actually. Harry brought her along, and I... I could just tell she was something different. I couldn't stop thinking about her."

I grinned, my eyes getting blurry, and the reporter made an Awww face.

"And Courtney, how did you feel when you saw your picture in the magazines?" She asked, turning to me.

"Well, at first I was a little freaked out. I mean, no unknown girl wants to see their face plastered over a magazine." I felt Niall's hand tense a little. "But it was really worth it. At first I was uncomfortable with people knowing about my personal life, but I'm getting used to it. And Niall's worth it."

"Well you guys are just about the cutest thing ever," She said, then turned her head back to the camera. "When we come back One Direction will be having a quick concert! We'll be right back."

"CUT!" Someone yelled, and Niall turned to look at me. "You did amazing." He leaned in and kissed me, and I was glad that the reporter had left. 

"Sorry I made you feel guilty," I said. "I just blurted out things. And I meant it- your worth it. Everything."

"I love you," He said, pulling my hair out of my face.
