I took a deep breath and walked out of my house to Niall's car. I got in the passengers seat and he smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Hey," He said. His hair was styled up, in quite a high quiff, and he looked casual yet spiffy in a black shirt, white chackis, and Nike shoes.
"Hi," I replied, trying to calm down.
"So, what movie would we like to see?" Niall asked. "You look great, by the way."
"Thank you so much," I responded. "Oh, right, what movie we're seeing could be helpful," I laughed as he began to pull out of the driveway.
"We could see... Ice Age 4!" Niall asked, looking happy.
I smiled. This guy. "Sure, I haven't seen a good animation in a long time. Plus, scrat is like the cutest little chipmunk thingy."
"I thought he was a squirrel," Niall said, knitting his eyebrows together, and I smiled.
During the movie, we both laughed at the pretty stupid but funny parts and at one point I suddenly felt a warm hand on mine. My face flushed and I looked down to see Niall's hand in mine. I wanted to explode, but I calmly squeezed his hand and smiled. It was the best feeling in the world, and we stayed like that for the rest of the movie.
