Reminiscing

Pairing(s): George x Viktor.

George POV:

Ugh! We were waiting outside in the cold for the students from Drumstrang to arrive. Come on, what is taking so long? Suddenly, a ship appeared from underneath the Black Lake. That was our cue to head inside. Finally!

As everyone settled down, the door opened and all the students from Drumstrang entered behind their Headmaster. As they entered, I heard Ron 'whisper', "That's Viktor Krum!"

Sure enough, behind the Headmaster, was the star player of the Bulgarian Quidditch team, Viktor Krum. 

As he came near me, I swear I saw him wink at me while smiling, then looked straight ahead. I could feel my face heating up and felt like I was melting in my seat. Fred noticed the wink as he teasingly told me, "Ohh, Georgie's got a crush..."

"Shut up, Fred.", I hissed.

We turned to see Dumbledore giving a speech, which I tuned out as I saw Viktor looking straight at me. We didn't break eye contact until Drumstrang's Headmaster tells all his students to take any seat in the hall.

Immediately, Viktor starts walking towards us and sits in the seat next to me.

"Hi. I am Viktor Krum."

"Hey. I...um...I am Geo Weas. No! George Weasley. I am George Weasley...", I say blushing with embarrassment.

He laughs at my embarrassment, which causes me to blush harder. But I also make an observation, his laugh is heavenly.

"This is my twin, Fred, and his girlfriend, Angelina.", I say.

"Ah, So George is the handsome twin.", Viktor states, causing me to laugh and Fred to exclaim, "What?!? You wound me, Viktor. I thought we were friends.", and collapse on Angelina's lap.

We joked talked all through dinner and become great friends. At the end, when it was time to head back and he had to go to his Headmaster, Viktor said, "You are amazing, George. I would love to be your friend."

"Thank you. And I would love for you to be my friend, and cause mischief together."

[Time skip to after the selection of the Triwizard Champions]

Oh my god. Harry is a Triwizard champion?!? He was, for 2 minutes, then he came back and said that Dumbledore sorted it out and he is not performing as he is underage and he did not put his own name. He looked relieved.

Then I started worrying about Viky. No, Viktor! I said Viktor! He is just my friend. It is not like my heart flutters and I get butterflies in my stomach every time he is nearby. Totally doesn't happen.

It is not like I dream of him, my hands in his hair and his lips on mine and... Get back on track, George!

Anyway, the moment my mind came back to reality, Viktor came out from the room, and half ran straight to me. He had a nervous smile on his face. 

"I am scared.", he tells me.

"What?"

"I am scared, George, for my life. Yes, I wanted to take part, but numerous people have died in the Triwizard Tournament. So, I have a question to ask you before it is too late."

My mind wondering all the possibilities, I nod.

Taking a deep breath, he looks at me and says, "Will you go on a date with me?"

"Yes!", I shouted, as manly as I could and hugged him tightly. When we pull away from the hug, he leans down and I stand on my toes and we lean in for a kiss. The moment our lips touched, I felt fireworks go out from every direction. It was amazing. Once we break apart, Fred goes, "Finally! The sexual tension was so high, you could see from a universe away!"
