Chapter 56 → Ray

Flopping on the floor I looked over at the girls who too were slumped on the varies furniture in the living room of our penthouse. We had upgraded due to Aaliyah's complaints that Manai, Rayaan and I were far too loud for her and Ansley to get any good shut eye

"I am soooo drained" Aaliyah complained
"Same" Rayaan said
"Ditto" Ansley added

We have been in Miami for about 4 days now and we had just gotten back from swimming with the sharks.

"Oh my goodness." Rayaan said
"What?" I asked
"Nick's been blowing my phone up" she said making me pull mine out

We all connected to the WiFi making our phones go haywire with notifications

"Okay Edwin too" Manai laughed
"Austin as well" Ansley commented
"Nope, mine are all Instagram notifications" I shrugged making the girls look at me crazy "I'm kidding"
"Honestly I would be shocked if Brandon wasn't blowing your phone up" Rayaan said
"Yeah you two are like conjoined twins" Manai agreed making all the girls nod

"Hey I heard there was this banging club down the road, yall down to go?" Manai asked
"I think I'm going to call it a night" Ansley yawned
"Come one girl, don't be a priss." Manai laughed
"I promise if we see you're tired, we'll all leave. As a group" I smiled

I had gotten to know Ansley a little better over the week we had spent together. Although I felt as though there was a divide between the group. I tried my very best to ignore it and make the best of our trip before we went back to our sons

"Fine" Ansley said giving in
"Yay! Now let's go get ready" Rayaan said
"At 5pm?" Aaliyah questioned
"Sis we gotta, bath, shave, find a baddie outfit, put some natural but bomb make up on and go to slay at 9pm" Manai explained
"Think 4 hours is enough?" I asked cocking an eye brow
"Nahhh, we'll leave at 11pm" Rayaan commented as we began making our way up the stairs

"I still think getting ready 6 hours before the time is ridiculous" Aaliyah shrugged
"It's reasonable" Rayaan answered "plus Ray needs to wash all her sins"
"And we all know that's going to take time" Manai smirked
"As if" I said rolling my eyes

Aaliyah's POV

I sat on the couches as I watched the girls, pop, lock and grind on one another. Ray was drunk on some other level along with Rayaan who was stumbling everywhere. Ansley and Manai were in the corner downing shots like there was no tomorrow. It was garenteed they were going to black out

"Rayaan shouldn't you be slowing down. How are you going to FaceTime Kairo?" I asked over the loud music
"Hey, I have a whole 9 months of drinking to catch up" Rayaan yelled back

I looked around the club, sweaty bodies were dancing on each other, others sharing saliva as some got head in the corners. Girls were puking everywhere while others where grinding on guys who's names they'll probably never remember

I felt my head throb at the volume of music and my throat clench at the smell of booze, sex and sweat mixed all together.

I tapped the drunkenly dancing Ray and Rayaan as they halted their actions and turned towards me

"I want to go home" I said
"Come on Aaliyah, it's only 1 am. Don't be a priss" Ray slurred
"Ray, you're drunk let's go" I said trying to pull her home
"No, man Li, have a drink" she said pushing the bottle of Tequilla in my hands

I looked at the bottle. I knew I couldn't drink not at this time and stage. I. had been declining alcoholic beverages this whole trip making the girls sceptical but they probably blamed it on my uptight behaviour for the past few days.

"No" I said pushing it away
"Look I don't give a fuck if you're coming or not but I'm going home" I said angrily before storming into the jeep and driving off. They'll find an alternative to come home.
