Chapter 27 →Ray

I sat in my footie pajamas, eating cereal as I scrolled through my feed. I liked a couple of pictures before putting my phone down and watching TV. Just then the doorbell rang making me groan.

I got up to go open it and on the other side stood Brandon. I rolled my eyes before going to shut it but he stopped it with his foot

"Ray please" he pleaded
"You keep saying this word. Please, like it's gonna make life better" I said bitterly
"Ray I-
"Hi, is this Fashion Nova. Can I have a pair of jeans. Cash or credit? Oh no all I have is Brandon's Please" I said into my makeshift hand phone

Brandon looked down at his shoes
"I'm guessing you have nothing to say so get off my porch before I get the garbage men to" I said
"No, I had to tell you something before you heard it from someone else" he said making his way inside

I closed the door and stood against it tapping my foot impatiently
"So Charlotte came yesterday to tell me-
"Look if you're gonna come brag to me about your little whore then please get out" I said already disgusted
"She's pregnant Ray" Brandon said

I closed my eyes, absorbing what had just come out of Brandon's mouth. Before opening the door

"Get out" I said lowly
"Ray I can't live without my girlfriend!" Brandon resorted
"Oh so now I'm your girlfriend!" I yelled "I WASN'T YOUR GIRLFRIEND WHEN YOU WERE BALLS DEEO IN HER EXPIRED GHOST LOOKING PUSSY NOW WAS I!" I yelled

Brandon stood there shocked at my words
"Now I'm not one to repeat myself." I said opening the door wider

Brandon sighed and walked out but not before stopping in front of me
"I love you Ray"

Once he had exited I slammed the door, storming upstairs and stripping. I walked into the shower and turned the water on, beginning to wash my hair before breaking down and sliding down the wall, letting the water run over me, mixing in with my tears
