The 'Un' Attached String

Chapter - 12

At night, Maahir brought Bulbul in his house while she was asleep in his arms. She was very tired and also because of jetlag she fall asleep in the evening and so without waking her up Maahir brought her home. He took her into her bedroom, which he decorated himself and made her sleep on her bed. After that he got freshen up and decided to make some light food for themselves and so he made some rice and lentil. After finishing cooking, he suddenly remembered that Madhu gave him a packet and had also told him that it was something which he needed. He opened the packet and found a pen drive inside it and so he plugged it into the TV and put it on. It contained many videos and played the 1st one of them.

VIDEO 1 (In the intro scene it was written 2 years) : Someone walked inside a room calling out Bulbul's name and by the voice it appeared to be Madhu. Madhu looked here and there but could not find Bulbul and was about to leave when she heard a sound coming from under the bed. She put the mobile camera in an angle on the table and put the glass down and looked under bed and found a very little, almost about 2 years of age, lying down on her stomach and covering her face with her tiny hands. She asked, "Bulbul tu neeche kya kar rahi hai puttar?" Bulbul removed her hands from her face and replied, "Naani dudu... ganni dudu!" Bulbul covered her nose and squeezed her eyes and seeing her antics, Madhu laughed out and said, "Oho to Bulbul ko dudh ganda lagta hai aur isiliye bed ke neeche chup hui hai. Chal puttar bahaar aaja." Bulbul angrily nodded her head and seeing that Bela replied, "Puttar dudh nehi peeyegi to jaldi bari kaise hogi? Haddiya nehi mazbut banni hai aur tu to mera bahaadur bachcha hai. Aaja puttar!" Bulbul scolded Madhu and said, "Aappp!! Bubbu ganni dudu na na!" Madhu said, "Haayo rabba mujhe daat rahi hai? Thik hai main to Bulbul ke liye banana waala dudh lekar aayi thi jo Bulbul ke daddy ko bhi bohot pasand tha." On hearing about her father, Bulbul looked at Madhu and asked, "Daddy?? Daddy nana (banana) dudu?" Madhu replied, "Ha tere daddy ko bara pasand tha ye to par abhi Bulbul peena nehi chahti hai to kya kar sakte hai." Bulbul immediately crawled outside and said, "Bubbu nana dudu!!" Madhu patted on Bulbul's cheek and said, "Ae hui na gal!" Madhu gave Bulbul her cup of milk and she drank it without any more argument.

VIDEO 2 (3 years) : Bulbul was standing in front of the mirror and looking at her own image very angrily and was scolding that image. Bela came to Bulbul and asked, "Bulbul beta aap kisko daat rahe ho?" Bulbul replied, "Mamma Bubbu aapshe katti hai, aap Bubbu ko pyal ni katti." Bela covered and mouth and said, "Haww!! Mamma Bulbul se pyar nehi karti ye baat kisne kaha aapko? Mamma to Bulbul se sabse zyaada pyar karti hai." Bulbul nodded her head angrily and replied, "Nei aap isshhe dada pyal katte ho." She pointed at her own image in the mirror and seeing that Bela burst out into laughter and replied, "Beta ye to aap ho." Bulbul widened her eyes and looked at Bela in a strange way and replied, "Main to yaha hu. Vo to ganni hai." Bela replied, "Vo gandi nehi hai, vo Bulbul hi hai. Dekho jaise mamma yaha bhi hai aur waha bhi thik vaise bhi Bulbul yaha bhi hai aur waha bhi." Saying Bela hugged Bulbul and picked her up in her arms and pointed at the mirror and seeing that Bela hugging, according to her, another girl, she almost forcibly got down of Bela's arms and then picked up Bela's one of the perfume bottles and threw it on the mirror pointing at her image thus breaking it and then she started crying loudly.

Maahir was watching the video and he had tears in his eyes and he imagined himself with them in the video.

"Oye hoye mera bachcha ro kyu raha hai?" Maahir came there while Bulbul was crying so loudly and seeing him, she raised and stretched her arms signalling him to pick her up. When Maahir picked her up, Bulbul said, "Daddy mamma musshe pyal nei katti, vo usshe pyal katti hai." Saying she pointed at her own image at the mirror. Maahir, too could not stop smiling on seeing that Bulbul was thinking her own image to be another girl. Maahir pretended to be very angry and said to Bela, "Mamma ye bohot galat baat hai, aapko Bulbul se zyaada pyar karna chahiye na aur... uske papa se bhi. Aap Bulbul ke saamne kisi aur ko pyar karoge to obviously usko to gussa aayega hi na." He then wiped Bulbul's tears and then replied, "Meri baby ko jisne rulaaya hai na daddy usko punish karenge abhi." Saying he punched at the screen and scolded the image just like Bulbul and seeing that Bulbul clapped. After that Maahir kissed on Bulbul's cheeks and said, "Chahe Bulbul ko koi pyar kare ya na kare, daddy Bulbul se bohot pyar karte hai. Hai na baby?" Bulbul nodded her head and seeing that Bela replied, "Mamma bhi to karti hai na... Dekho." She too kissed on Bulbul's cheeks and then Bulbul too kissed her back and then Maahir said to Bela, "Aur Bulbul ke daddy ke liye kuch bhi nehi hai? That's not fair!!" Bela nodded her head and replied, "Nehi kuch bhi nehi hai." Saying she started walking away while Maahir followed her calling her name with Bulbul in his arms.
