76. baby shower

Me and my mum were invited to one of her friends baby showers. When I say I was invited, i mean forced against my will. I'm going to known no one there so I don't see the point in going.

We get there and my mum greats the friend who is having a baby and then greets Mrs Mendes who I have met once or twice before.

We walk into the living room and I see another person who looks around my age and is very cute. I'm pretty sure he's Shawn Mendes. He looks over and for sure it is him.

He smiles that stunning smile at me instantly making me smile back. My mum left me on my own so I just kind of linger around.

Shawn starts walking and as it seems, it looks like he is walking in my direction.

"Hey Y/N."

"Hey Shawn."

"How have you been?"

"I've been good how have you been?"

"I've been great."

"That's good."

"Yeah."

After that we kinda stopped talking we didn't know what else to talk about. We both just stood there staring at the floor.

"Do you maybe want to get out if here?"

"Yes please I'm bored out of my mind."

"Great I have a place where we can go."

"Ok lead the way."

We get into his car and he lets me put some music on. Funnily enough we have the same taste in music.

We laugh practically the whole way to wear he was taking me.

We get there and it's this really nice place with a small sandy beach and some ocean.

"I like this place. I come here to think and get my mind of things. This is my special place and I've never told anyone about it but I could see you needed a place like this so we can share."

"Thank you Shawn I really appreciate it."

He starts taking his clothes off until he's in his boxers.

"What are you doing?"

"Going for a swim, you coming?"

"Are you crazy!"

"A little."

I chuckle at that.

"Fine give me a minute."

I strip down till I'm in my undergarments. Thank the Lord I was wearing a cute lace  pair today.

"Race you." He tells running off and jumping in.

I run in and jump in too.

I rise back up to the top.

"Oh my god it's freezing."

"Yeah what did you expect?" He said with a tone of sarcasm in his voice.

I splash him. He starts splashing me back. I knew I made a war.

I start trying to run away but he grabs my waist and pulls me into him making me laugh.

I am now facing him. He looks into my eyes and I look into his.

I see him slowly start leaning in so I mean in to. It doesn't take long for our lips to connect. My arms wrap around his neck.

We pull away and Shawn says we should probably get back onto shore.

We get back into clothes and Shawn starts a fire.

I'm still cold so shawn put his jacket around me. He sits next to me and I place my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me.

"Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"What did that kiss mean to you?"

"To me it meant everything. Ever since I have met you I have wanted to do that. I like  you a lot."

"I like you too."

He looks at me and kisses me again.

"Be mine." He whispers into the kiss.

"I'm all yours." I say back.

It was too late to head back so we got into the back of his jeep and Shawn grabs a blanket from the boot. He lies down and I lie down next to him. He places the blanket over us.

He kisses my head and we both fall asleep.

Maybe the baby shower wasn't such a bad thing.
