Malon POV:
I woke up on Link's chest. When I looked up I saw him drooling with cute messy hair, and I laughed to myself. I wanted to embrace the moment because I wasn't sure if there would ever be another morning like it. But nevertheless, I got out of bed and went downstairs to make a breakfast.
But there were no eggs, or fresh milk around. Great Din this place needs a ranch or something, I thought to myself. I decided to work with what I had, and made toast with jam. I noticed that Link had red apples on the table, and so I sliced them up and put them on the side. Link still wasn't up so I decided to bring our food up on the loft. I flopped on the bed and waved his food around his nose, and surely he woke up.
" uwu, thank you chef Malon," he said in a low voice while taking the plate.
"No problem," I said taking a bite of my toast, sitting cross legged.
"Mmm, delightful," He said with his eyes closed.
"I know," I said bringing my shoulder close to my chin.
We ate in peaceful silence and a couple of times I would catch him looking at me. He looked as though he was pondering something, and I couldn't help but think his thoughts had to do with me. I grew anxious of the fact that he wasn't saying anything, and started to think of reasons why he was so silent:
Was making breakfast too much? Does he know that I like him? What if he remembered how I slept on his chest and thinks it's weird?

When we were finished, We both got dressed and he rode me home.
"I'm going to buy a horse today," he said randomly, as Epona galloped through Hyrule field.
     "Really?Can I come with you?"
I have never been outside of Hyrule in my life, and all horses were imported from outside of Hyrule.
"Of course you can come," he chucked.
Since my arms were already wrapped around him I just squeezed his torso tighter in appreciation. He turned Epona around and started heading back into the forest. The ride was long but beautiful. We passed fields of lavender, and lots of green dewy hills. Around noon we arrived at a place with a sign that said Mido town.
The town had marble and stone buildings with flowers beds and small markets everywhere. The people rushed around each other, looking like they each had something important to do; similar to castle town. Me and Link stopped to eat at a sausage stand, then went to a shop with a sign that said Mar's Horses. On the side of the shop were wooden stables where the horses were held, and inside of the shop were shelves full of horse equipment.
I was in heaven the whole time I was there. Link told the shopkeeper we were looking for a horse, and so he opened the door to the stables. I personally went from horse to horse, petting each one. I heard Link explain to the shopkeeper that I just really liked horses, that way the shopkeeper wouldn't think I was crazy. The shopkeeper gave an approving laugh, then went on to explain the qualities of each horse.
My eyes suddenly lead me towards a horse at the back of the stables. It had a solid black coat and a pearl white mane and tail. It was beautiful, and so I called Link to come see the horse. The shopkeeper followed behind him as Link looked in awe at the horse.
The shopkeeper chuckled and said:
"Your wife is a smart one."
I blushed at this and from the corner of my eye I seen Link go stiff.
"This horse is a one of a kind. In all of my years of owning this shop, I've never seen one like him. He has good stamina, speed, and sturdy muscles."
"Then why hasn't he been brought yet?" I questioned.
"Because, the people consider him to be too different. Heck, I would of brought him if I didn't already own so many horses," the shopkeeper added.
        "I'll take him," Link said.
"Then it's a deal," the shopkeeper said shaking Link's hands.
I waited for Link outside of the shop on Epona. He came out of the shop with a smile and a new horse at his side.
"You ready to race to Hyrule?" he asked with a charming grin.
I scuffed, " you mean I ride to Hyrule while you try to keep up?"
He laughed a little, then mounted onto his horse. "Whoever reaches Hyrule's border first-wins."
  "It's a deal."
We counted each other off, and began galloping to Hyrule. At first me and Epona were in the lead, but then Link and his horse caught on and we were tied. After a while, Link pushed his horse harder putting him at least 10 feet in front of me. Following him, I pushed Epona and we were tied once again. The fields of lavender and hills of green were in blurs by then.
And when Hyrule's border was in sight, I slowed Epona down to make Link think there weren't any competition. But when we were only 400m away, I sped Epona up fast enough to pass him and cross the boarder line. I pulled Epona to a stop, followed by a defeated Link and celebrated my victory.

    Link POV:
I watched Malon announce her victory to the world. Her hair was winded and her bangs almost curtained her eyes. I couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she was.
When her yelling converted to panting, I asked
"Are you done yet?"
   "Whew,"she exhaled, "I am."
As our horses walked us out of the woods, we were greeted by a sunset. The only noise being made was the horses' hooves, as Malon gazed at the parting sun. The sky was a mix of orange, pink, purple, and blue; with gold lining around the cream colored clouds.
"It's beautiful," I said breaking the silence.
"It is," she agreed. It fell silent again for a moment, before she asked: "What are you gonna name your horse?"
I debated my answer in my head before saying, "I'm gonna name him Stuart."
         She bursted into laughter.
"What? is that not a good name?!" I asked, pretending to be offended.
"No, it's just I thought you would pick something like Boulder or phantom. But I like it," she said collecting herself again.

When we got to Kakariko Village there was a worried Talon. He looked up and saw me and Malon trotting in, and was relieved.
"Malon where were you yesterday? And where were you today?"
Before Malon could reply I said: "Yesterday she went to visit me, but then it started thundering so she stayed the night. In the morning, we started to head back here, but then I kidnapped her and took her with me to get a horse."
Malon looked at me wide eyed because she knew, as well as I, that I exaggerated the ending. She then quickly added: "I didn't mind him taking me with him, he did not kidnap me Father" squinting her eyes at me.
"Alright," her father said crossing his arms, "but next time let me know; I was worried sick." He started walking away and stopped to say, "nice horse," before continuing.
Malon dismounted Epona and headed toward the stables. I followed behind her after tying Stuart to a tree.
"You know you didn't have to try and take the fall for me" she said looking back at me.
       "Yeah."
I watched her movements as she put Epona into a stable and walked over toward me, until we were right in front of each other. My eyes fell to her smooth lips and I got the urge to kiss her. My mind charting unknown territory. She embraced me in a hug.
"Goodnight Link," she said pulling away.
"Goodnight Malon," I said making my way to Stuart as she watched me go.
