Bulbul was so excited after taling to Maahir especially when he acknowledged her that she woke up just at time before anyone could call her to wake her up. At first, she ran to Madhu and said,"Naani naani kal na maine daddy se baat ki hai pata hai unko mere photos miley aur unhone mujhpar yakeen bhi kar liya." Madhu kissed her on her head and said,"Haww!! Ye to bohot achcha hua. Main jaanti thi tu zarur kaamyaab hogi." "Kya baate ho rahi hai naani aur nawaasi ke beech mein?" Madhu and Bulbul looked at the direction of the voice with a jerk and found that Bela, all dressed up and ready for office, was walking towards them while working on her tab. Bulbul swallowed the lump formed on her throat and looked at Madhu all scared and Madhu, in order to cover up, said,"Dekh na aaj subhe bina bulaaye time par uth gayi. Varna isko neend se uthaana to matlab ek aur bohot bara kaam hota hai subhe ka." Bela gave a side hug to Bulbul and said,"Aap to hamesha meri jaan ki jaan ke peeche par jaati ho mamma, main to hamesha hi kehti thi ki meri Bulbul bari samjhdaar hai." Bulbul looked at Bela curving her brows and said,"Aap meri mamma hi ho na? I mean aaj aap naani waala dialogue kyu maar rahi ho? Aap to aisi bilkul bhi nehi ho." Bela turned off her tab and replied,"Lo ji ye to hadh hi ho gayi! Agar main achcha bolu to bhi problem aur agar daatu to bhi problem. Sahi kehte hai, is duniya mein kisiko khush karna bohot bari problem hai." Bulbul hugged Bela by her waist and said,"Bura nehi maante hai mamma, aap to meri achchi mamma ho na." Bela replied,"Achcha thik hai abhi makkhan lagaane ki zarurat nehi hai. Vaise mamma main aapko ek baat bataana bhul gayi, kal jab main office mein thi to maami ka phone aaya tha, Suhaani ki shaadi pakki ho gayi hai. Agle mahine hi shaadi hai to hum sabko bulaaya hai aur kaha hai ke hum abhi chale jaaye to shaadi ke saare rituals mein enjoy bhi kar lenge aur unki madat bhi. Hum to jaayenge nehi, agar aap jaana chahti hai to main saara arrangement karwa deti hu." Madhu was very happy thinking of going to India after so many years but she said,"Ye to bohot khushi ki khabar hai, itne saalo baad India jaane ka mera to bara mann hai lekin tum log nehi jaaoge to main akeli jaakar kya karungi?" Bela nodded her head and replied,"Aap jaanti hai mamma main kyu India nehi jaana chahti hu aur aapki bhanji ki shaadi hai, aap kyu nehi jaayengi? Agar ye shaadi duniya ke kisi bhi kone mein hoti to main chali jaati but not India especially Delhi. Never!!" On hearing about the marriage, for Bulbul it was like, 'something which you want desperately from the core of your heart, God always fulfills that wish' and Bulbul's heart was already beating or it would be better to say jumping with happiness when she thought about it as an opportunity to meet her father, she said,"Mamma kitna time ho gaya main bhi kahi nehi gayi, naani ke saath main bhi jaaungi."Bela immediately rejected the plan and replied,"No way!! You are not going anywhere alone Bulbul and that too without me aur India to totally off limits!" Bulbul said,"Kyu India mein kya buraai hai? Maine kabhi India nehi dekha, mujhe pata hai waha aapka ghar hai, main alag alag countries mein aapke bohot saare relatives ke ghar gayi par India mein kabhi nehi gayi. Maine TV par dekha hai Indian weddings bari mazedaar hoti hai. Bohot achche achche Indian khaana khaane milenge." Bela gave a mocking smile to Bulbul and said,"Beta tum apni mamma ko jitna bewakuf samajhti ho na, mamma utni bewakuf nehi hai mela babu, mujhe achchi tarah se pata hai ke tumhe shaadi mein koi dilchaspi nehi hai, tum to waha apne daddy ko dhundhne jaana chahti ho." Bulbul made an angry face and said,"That's not fare aap hamesha mujhpar doubt karti ho. Isliye mujhe aap par bohot gussa aata hai. Main bore ho gayi hu Canada mein. Mera bhi to mann karta hai bahaar ghumne ka." Bela pulled Bulbul's cheeks and said,"To thik hai agle hafte mamma aur Bulbul hamaari private jet mein Itlay jaayenge, sirf hum dono ek hafte ki vacation par. Main aaj hi saara arrangement kar dungi." Bulbul, in almost a pleading tone said,"Mamma mujhe Italy nehi India jaana hai aur main akeli nehi jaaungi naani ke saath jaaungi." Bela again rejected Bulbul's plea and said,"No Bulbul mamma ne manaa kiya hai na ke tum India nehi jaaogi to bas nehi jaaogi aur phir ek mahine ke liye India? Are you mad? Tumhaare school ka kya hoga? And truly speaking Bulbul, tumhaara track record na bohot hi kharaab hai, I don't trust you at all. Tum waha bas Maahir ko dhundhne ke liye jaana chahti ho I know it aur agar khud upar se bhagwaan bhi aakar mujhe ye kahenge ke tum aisa nehi karogi to main tab bhi yakeen nehi karungi." Bulbul, at last, crossed her finger at her back and lied to Bela,"Mamma main bilkul bhi aap jaisa nehi chahti ho vaisa nehi karungi. God promise!!" Bela chuckled and replied,"Sweetheart tum apne faayde ke liye, apni baat manwaane ke liye, bhagwaan ko bhi bech aane waali larki ho, so please don't do those promises!!" Bulbul was about to protest but Bela stopped her in the middle and said,"Bohot ho gaya Bulbul, ab mujhe aur koi bakwaas nehi sunni hai, tum nehi ja rahi ho that's final!!" Bulbul angrily turned her face away from Bela and crossed her arms around her chest. Seeing that Bela softened a little bit and bowed down towards her and said,"Bulbul, mera baby dekho agar aise tum muh utaar kar rahogi to aaj mera pura din spoil ho jaayega. Aaj bohot important business deal hai aur sabko pata hai Bulbul to mamma ki lucky charm hai. To jaldi se mamma ko ek kissie karo phir mamma ko jaldi office bhi to jaana hai na baba." She put her hand on Bulbul's shoulder and pleaded,"Please!!" Bulbul slowly turned towards Bela and gave a kiss on her cheek and Bela too kissed her back and said,"That's like my good baby!! Achcha tum breakfast khatam karke school jaao phir hum raat ko beth kar, Italy trip ki planning karenge." Saying Bela left from there and after she left, Bulbul gave a wicked smile and seeing that Madhu said,"Chalo main apne aur teri packing kar leti hu. Jaana to hai hi aaj nehi to kal." Bulbul gave her a broad smile and replied,"Naani aap mujhe kitni achche se jaanti ho." Madhu shook her shoulder and said,"Aur nehi to kya? Main teri ma ki ma hu aur teri ma se zyaada to maine tujhe sambhaala hai. Main teri rag rag se wakif hu." Bulbul said,"Shaayad mamma ye bhul gayi hai ke main kaun hu? Unko ye baat yaad dilaani paregi ke main Bulbul Sehgal hu aur mujhe 'na' sunne ki aadat nehi hai aur negative ko positive mein badalna mujhe bohot achche se aata hai. Bohot din ho gaye koi dhamaal nehi kiya." She looked at Madhu and said,"Naani be ready!! Delhi to main jaaungi aur apne daddy ke saath unke ghar mein hi rahungi. Dekh lena!!" She gave a wicked smile thinking about how she was going to compel Bela to allow her to go to India.
