feeling the fresh air nip my skin at night,
a distant ocean and birds chirping
being the sounds in my ears,
was enough.
Not to make me get over you,
but to realized I still love you.
Because the entire time I was there
in paradise with her beauty around me,
I turned around so many times
to see the most beautiful thing of all.
But you weren't there.
