I think the saddest words
I've ever heard
come from a person's lips
are "I don't know what to do anymore".
Because they've crushed
every single last bit
of their pride and hope
just to speak those words
of helplessness and defeat
and it's the point of time
when they're usually nothing you can do
anymore to fix them
because they've been fixing themselves
for so long
and they don't know what to do anymore. They've lost the battle
and are asking to hand it
over to you.
But they've been at it for a long time
and always figured out the game...
until now.
So how are you
supposed to know
what to do
when they speak those sad words
and admit finally that they
don't know what to do anymore?
