3 months later-
It was my first day in college. I reached Shreya’s home and honked for her to come out. She came running and we left for college. I parked my vehicle in the parking and we together went towards the notice board. I checked the notice board and found our class, roll no, and other essential stuff. We went to class just to find the professor inside. I went in and asked for permission.
“Don’t be late from next class” she said.
“Sorry ma’am. We got stuck in traffic” I said with an innocent face and she let us in. To impress her, we occupied the first benches. I looked around to check similar faces and settled down. The professor was teaching and I got lost into Mohit’s thoughts. Classes went on and we attended all of them.
College got over and we came out. I was talking to Mohit on call on one hand and the other hand was engaged in Shreya’s. We waved a bye to some new friends and reached parking lot. I went towards my vehicle, unlocked it and hung up with Mohit on the other hand. I tried hard to pull it out but couldn’t as the other bike beside it was parked too much close.
“What happened?” Shreya asked.
“The bike is stuck. Look at this.” I pointed to the parked vehicle “These people lack skill of even parking a bike” I said out of frustration. I tried to take it out as much as I could. Then got tired and walked out. I was about to call Mohit until a known voice appeared from behind.
“May I help you?” I turned around and figured a similar figure. It was that same guy who had pushed me 3 months before. I was totally irritated by his presence and moved a step behind.
“You, what are you doing here?” I asked out of already grown frustration.
“That is my bike” He pointed towards the bike beside mine.
“Don’t you know how to park?” I said.
“Sorry ma’am” he said smiling and walked towards his bike. That smile of his was very annoying to me, I looked away. He took out his bike and snatched the keys from my hand to take it out. I looked at his skill and looked away again, as his skill was way above then what I thought of.
“Thanks, I am Shreya by the way” Shreya said with a broad smile. He stood beside us as she sat on the bike. She whispered into my ears “Say a thank you at least” and gave me looks.
“Nice to meet you Shreya, I am Harshvardhan Puranik, but you can call me Harsh” he said and looked at me with all his hope that I introduce myself as well. Instead I just said “Thank you” and rode off. That was the starting of something I really think is the worst phase I have been in. But, thanks to this one guy who took care of the messed up me.
“Thank you? He expected you’re name in return” Shreya said.
“Not really, but I think a thank you was rather necessary” I threw back.
We were at the signal while speaking to Shreya, I encountered something similar. I saw Voldy on a bike with someone, some girl accompanying him. I must say, he still affects me and I really have to stop saying ‘that was the last time I saw him’. Well, frankly his looks still mattered to me. I was lost into my thoughts when I saw him staring into my eyes. We had our moment, but No emotions crept in my heart. I reached home in couple of minutes after dropping Shreya.
The day ended unusually and I dozed off early. In the mid-morning, Mohit called up to check on me but I ended up sleeping while talking to him.
