Natasha is a big mood this entire damn chapter fr smh

Natasha's pov:

"Natasha, what is with you and that guy?"

I'm laying on the couch, and Bucky is laying on me with his head on my chest. It's a little hard to breathe, but he's warm and I actually like the pressure. I like his weight on me.

"He just likes cuddles."

"Ever since you two went to that motel together, you've been getting really close..."

"And? We're friends, is that a crime?"

"You've been real close... Natasha, is there something you're not telling me?"

Yes.

"No. He needs someone to nap with him. What's wrong with that?"

"You just don't like cuddling usually..."

"I like cuddling, and it's no secret. It's just nobody dares get that close to me. Nobody but Barnes. He isn't really scared of anything, because everything is scared of him."

"True, but you could still kick his ass."

"He knows that. But also knows that even though I can, I probably wont."

"Probably."

"I could kick you're ass right now if I wanted. You're no different."

"Well, he looks kinda heavy. Can you get out?"

"I'm a super soldier too."

"I'll take that as a yes then. I'm just saying he's 6 feet tall, and over 200 pounds worth of muscle and metal."

"That's a good thing. He's warm. My new blanket."

"That's one deadly blanket."

"And I'm one deadly pillow."

"...Fair point."

I put my hand on his head, with the other rested on his back.

Steve walks into the room, and stops when he sees us. He crosses his arms and smiles at Bucky. Tony was following behind Steve.

"It's nice to see him making friends." Steve says proudly.

"A friend." Tony corrects.

"He's friends with the Black Widow. I feel like that an accomplishment." Steve adds.

"...Ok, I'll give him that. Still only one person."

"Yeah, but does the Black Widow let you lay on her?"

"...Fine. He's making progress. Just not the way we all expected." Tony rolls his eyes.

"Still progress." Steve arches an eyebrow.

"Guys, be quiet. Let the man sleep." I lower my voice a little.

"Is he even asleep?" Tony crosses his arms.

"No." I giggle.

"He's not?" Steve asks.

"No, no. He likes listening to our conversation." I smile.

"How do you know?" Tony asks.

"His breathing changed and his heart rate sped up."

"...You...You can feel his heartbeat?" Clint cocks his head like a curious puppy.

"Well, yeah. Got his chest against me. Man's heavy."

"Don't call him heavy. That's rude." Steve pipes up.
