With Hiccup... (Astrid pov) *ON HOLD*

Chapter 5: he doesn't love me...

We finally landed back home and it was now getting pretty late.

"Ok guys, please don't be late for training tomorrow, Ok?" said Hiccup but we know they will.

"fine!" they all groan except for me and Fishlegs who are always on time.

"alright see you tomorrow guys!" Hiccup said walking off in the direction of his house.

"ahem!" he turned around and stared at me. "forgetting something?" I asked tapping my foot. I can't believe he forgot!

"no I don't think s-" I stopped him mid-sentence as I kissed him full on the lips. I can't believe he wasn't expecting it!

"get a room!" shouted Tuff and Snotlout to just be hit in the stomach by Ruff. We pulled apart. He blushed madly. I'm a Hofferson I never blush. Hiccup looked at the others who were just gawking at us.

"later Hiccup!" I said kissing him on the cheek as I went by. I hope he admits his feelings for me soon...

I just decided to have a quick flight with Stormfly before I headed home.

"do you think he likes me girl?" She gave me a quick squawk. I patted her side and chuckled.

"I hope you're right girl..." I said. I then thought about something as we headed home. What if Hiccup doesnt love me? I brush that thought out of my mind.

Just then a Terrible Terror comes flying by with a note. I grab it before reading it,

Dear Astrid,

There is something that I have been meaning to tell you. Please meet me at my house as soon as you recieve this letter.

signed Hiccup xxx

Oh my Thor! He actually put three kisses! I did a flip on Stormfly.

"change of plan girl!" I said happily patting her side, "we're heading to Hiccups!" she gave me a happy squawk as we flew on towards Hiccups.

Moments later me and Stormfly had arrived in front of Hiccups house.

"Stay here girl..." I told her. She gave me a squawk as I neared Hiccups house.

I could hear Hiccup and Chief Stoick speaking to each other, so me being Astrid, I maybe kinda eavesdropped?

This is what I heard...

"not so fast Hiccup!" I heard Stoick boom "I need to talk with you son..." he continued. I could hear Hiccup gulping in the background I silently giggled. "is it true that you have feelings for the Hofferson girl?" Stoick had said. I was shocked and I blushed. Yes I, fearless Astrid Hofferson blushed! I'm so glad nobody was around to see that...

"psshh no, o-of course not, I-I mean w-why would I that's r-rediculous..." I hear Hiccup reply. I accidentally opened the door and dropped my axe missing my right foot by inches. Hiccup just stared at me shocked realising what he had just said.

"y-you don't have feelings for me?" I said. I felt tears threatening to flood out of my eyes. I've never ever cried, even when my father and mother died. I had to stay strong for them. That's when I changed.

And now here I am fearless Astrid Hofferson about to cry buckets.

"A-astrid wait!" I hear him say but I'm gone before he can say anything further. I thought he liked me!

I run off towards the forest. Scraping my arms on every twig I pass by. My vision is blurry as the tears begin to overflow. I run to the only place I have left of him. The cove...
