"Hey Jacob!!" Queenie breezed into the bakery.

"Oh, Jacob's in the back" a high & slightly annoying voice replied.

"Hailey." Queenie faltered. You could literally see her confidence being crushed.

Jacob emerged from the back & saw a slightly upset looking Queenie, a fake smiling Hailey & a blushing Newt & Tina.

"Oh, hiya guys!" Jacob beamed.

Queenie froze. What would she say? What would she do?

"Oh- erm.......may Queenie & I stay here for a little while?" Newt felt the need to speak up.

"Oh, yeah. Sure. Why?" Jacob looked back & forth between Newt & Queenie.

"I-I need to meet with someone at the park. I will only be a quick while though" Tina stepped forward.

"Yeah, okay" Jacob agreed.

Tina left the shop, smoothing down her short, dark brown hair as she went.

Tina approached Jayden, who was feeding the ducks at a pond.

"Hi babe!" He turned & kissed her.

Pulling away, Tina put on a strained smile on her face as her current boyfriend dragged her away to the zoo.

"Um.....Jacob?" Queenie asked tentatively.

"Yes, doll?" Jacob looked over a customer's shoulder.

"C-can you tell me where the the ladies room is?" Queenie smiled.

"Yes, down the hall & to your right" he gave the customer his change.

Queenie walked off.

"I'll be in the back" Hailey fluttered her eyelashes.

"So, you & Queenie huh?" Jacob shuffle behind the counter across to Newt.

"Oh, OH!! No no no! We're friends." Newt waved his hands side-to-side like windscreen wipers.

"What about Tina, then?" Jacob nudged him.

Newt just blushed.

"Ah, okay" the baker winked.

"Look Jay. We need to talk"

Tina led Jayden over to a park bench. She noticed that his eyes were shining & glimmering like crazy.

"Uh-oh, sounds bad. What is it?" Jayden's eyebrows were raised in concern.

"I-I just don't think this is working out. It's been a great six & a half months but.... you're not the one for me. I'm sorry. It's not you, it's me." Tina sighed.

"No, please! I-I love you!" Jayden pleaded.

Tina rose from the bench & started walking away.

"NO! NO MY LOVE!! TINA! WAIT!!" Jayden called after her.

Tina walked faster & faster until she finally broke into a run.

"IT'S DONE!! I DID IT!!" Tina burst into the bakery. Newt & Queenie rushed to her.

"Oh, Teen! It worked? Yayyy!!" Queenie beamed.

"Well done" Newt smiled.

"I'm sorry but we have to go now" Queenie turned to Jayden & Hailey.

"Oh...um yeah, okay. C-Congrats on whatever happened?" Jacob grinned.

Then, Hailey sauntered over to Newt.

"I'll see you soon, very soon" she put her hand on his chest & smiled suggestively.

"Uhm.......no" Newt picked up her hand & dropped it by her side.

Biting her lip, Hailey leaned over to Newt's ear "I can give you so much. I can fulfil your every dream, your every wish, your every desire." Her lips grazed his ear.

Pushing Hailey away, Newt grabbed Tina's hand & gave her a sweet, genuine smile.

Hailey rolled her eyes & gave Tina a stare so cold, it made Queenie shiver.

"We gotta go now" the nice blonde smiled.

With that, they left the bakery.

Step 1 was complete.

Mercy Lewis that was the longest chapter I've done!!! I wanted to fit this step into a single chapter so it would be easier. Anyways.......yup das it.
