I wish I could get through to you
But it seems like I'm doing all I can do
You just treat me like one of the dudes
Are we friends or more
You have to choose
Because it feels like it's only me who's got something to lose
You say you love me then you push me away
But I'm still there cause I can't help but stay
You get me in bed with you
But wanna do more than just lay
It's not okay
But at the end of the day I love you and that's all I can say
Maybe we aren't healthy
Maybe we aren't perfect
But love is a hard subject
You can't teach it or learn it
You can try to object
But love is hard to reject
All I want is love and respect
Can you not have both
Can't you learn some control
This love can't keep getting put in hold
