Puzzle of My Heart

You once fit into my heart perfectly
You made your way into my life
And I have the whole thing to you
Only to borrow
Only to share
But you stole it from me
A little bit at a time
So that I wouldn't notice
That pieces of me were gone
You took the pieces of my heart
And the walls that I lowered for you
Are now higher than ever
And your pieces no longer fit mine
Because you used mine to build yourself up
Your walls were already so high
But you made them look low
With your differing point of view
You took away my walls and they doubled in size
You took away my heart to hide that you have one too
And now the crevices of our hearts
No longer fit together
