Sometimes she's
The quiet girl in the back of the class
Everyone judges her silence
But they don't know
That she really wants to scream
But she doesn't because
She's the Broken Hearted Girl
Sometimes she's
The happy popular girl, always smiling
Everyone loves her
But they don't know that
Ninety percent of the time her smiles fake
She wants to cry
But she doesn't because
She's the Broken Hearted Girl
No one understands her
No one knows the truth
No one knows how strong and beautiful she is
No one knows about the scars on her arms,
The mask on her face, and the stitches coming loose
No one knows about the days she can't get out of bed
Or the countless nights she's spent crying herself to sleep
No one knows how hard she's trying
No one knows she's the Broken Hearted Girl
