New Character: Edward Gracey

For all my Haunted Mansion fans, this is for you! I know this isn't a horror story and he's not a villain but I'm adding him anyway.
Your Backstory:
   You've been called a freak all your life.
   You have a rare ability to sense a person's entire life story just by touching them and know their thoughts and feelings just with one look.
   Everyone thinks you're insane, especially when you find yourself more comfortable around the dead than the living.
   Your parents locked you up in an asylum but you broke out and are now about to meet your man.

Meeting Him:
    It was a dark and stormy night. Cliché, I know. But it was.
   After escaping the asylum, you found yourself running until you saw a giant mansion in the middle of nowhere. The gate was open and you rushed through it to the house.
   You pounded on the door and it was opened. No one was there though.
   You walked inside, unsure if you were safe when you heard a voice.
   "Are you alright, ma'am?"
   You turned to see a very handsome man watching you closely. "I'm fine. Do you live here?"
   "Yes. Allow me to take care of you."
   He wrapped you in blankets and stuck you in front of a roaring fire.
   "My name is (y/n) (l/n)."
   "Edward. Edward Gracey." He thought for a moment. "I'll get someone to get you some food, a bath, and a warm bed for the night."
   "Thank you."
   You were led away by a woman in a maid's outfit. As he said, you were fed, bathed, clothed, and given a warm bed. Everything was nice.
   Only one thing bothered you, though. Why was it when you looked at Edward, he had no aura?    That only happened when someone was...dead.

The Aftermath/Meet Again:
   The next morning, you were a bit confused when you woke up in a bed that wasn't yours. Then you remembered.
   You wandered the halls until you found the dining room. Edward was waiting for you.
   "Please, come sit down and eat with me."
   You sat and ate. The pair of you talked for awhile and got to know each other somewhat.
   Finally, you got up the nerve to ask Edward about his aura. He sighed.
   "The reason I seem dead is because I am."
   "What happened?" You asked.
   "That is a story for another day."
   He stood up and promptly disappeared.

Hang Out/Become Friends:
   You felt bad after the first incident but you still wanted to know more about the mysterious man who was so kind to you.
   After you stayed with him for awhile, you found you both began to confide in each other.
  He told you how he loved once but she died so he had killed himself so they could be together.    Unfortunately, she had already gone to heaven and he was lost to earth forever.
  You cried when he told you that story.
  You told him about your power and how everyone hates you for it. You explain how you ended up in the asylum. He grew angry when he heard the story, saying how he wishes he could punish them for that.
  "Your powers are a gift. Anyone who does what they did are worse than the dirt of the earth and should be punished. I would never treat anyone that way...least of all you."

He Falls In Love With You:
   Edward Gracey fell in love with you!
   He never thought he'd fall in love again after Elizabeth died but he did.
   He thought you were sweet and loving. Your kindness and compassion drew him to you.
   On top of that, you were hurting, something he was familiar with himself. He wanted your family to suffer for what they did.
   So it wasn't surprising that he fell in love with you.

You Fall In Love With Him:
   You fell in love with Edward Gracey!
   He was so sweet, kind, and brave. You could tell he cared for you too.
   He was also the only one who didn't think you were nuts. In fact, he found it made you that much more attractive.

First Date:
   You'd been living at the mansion for awhile now and got used to living with Edward. You had grown close and gotten used to a certain schedule.
   One day, Edward woke you up to watch the sunrise with him. Once on the roof, he asked, "Do you think that I could maybe court you?"
   "Courting isn't really a thing anymore. Now we call it dating."
   "Then would you date me?"
   "I'd love to."
   He whisked you away from the mansion for a walk in the woods followed by a picnic.
   Needless to say, you enjoyed yourself.

First Kiss:
   Edward was nervous about kissing you. So one day you surprised him by kissing him. He blushed crimson but had no trouble dipping you down and getting to kiss you the second time.

Nicknames:
His: my prince
Yours: my princess

Gift (Necklace):

Family Get Together:
   Never happened because your family never went looking for you and you didn't care enough to tell them where you were. Besides, you didn't need Edward to get mad, kill them, and end up stuck with them forever.

You Move In With Him:
   You already live with him. He doesn't invite you to stay in his room either as he believes that is something that should only be done after marriage.
