Chapter 49

The next morning I woke up quite early for a change. I sat up and stretched, letting out a yawn. Today I was actually feeling better, still upset, but better. I then hopped out of bed and got changed into some clothes and then headed down stairs.

I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat on the lounge. I turned it onto MTV and the video clip to Only Girl (In the world) - by Rihanna was playing. I sat there and watched it. After that finished I turned it over to an episode of Jersey Shore, it was another repeat.

I finished my cereal and put the bowl in the sink and headed back up stairs to my room. As I walked in I went and sat on my bed. I picked up Damon's jacket and held it again. Closing my eyes I took him and everything we had in. I then opened my eyes and I searched for my phone, but couldn't find it. So I then picked up the house phone and called Damon.

'Damon when you get this message, could you come and see me, I need to talk to you' I said leaving it on his voice mail and then hung up.

I sat there and waited for him to come. It was at least ten or fifteen minutes when I heard someone's footsteps on my balcony. I turned my head to see Damon. He was waiting outside for me. I then got up and went to him, with his jacket in his hand.

"You need to talk to me" he said as I came outside. "Yes" I said to him. "Your jacket" I said handing it to him.

"Is that it?" he asked me confused. "And this" I said taking off the bracelet he gave me. "Alexis, I gave it to you. So keep it" he said pushing my hand back.

"Damon, I don't need any more reminders of you" I said placing it in his hands. "I want to heal and me having constant reminders of you won't help me" I said a tear falling from my eye.

"I can't keep feeling what I'm feeling and I'm sick and tired of me hating you. It's over Damon, for good" I told him and then let go of his hand.

I then turned around and wiped the tears falling on my face away and as I turned around Damon was gone. My tears came again. He was gone, we are over for good and now he's basically out of my life. I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. I didn't want to be here right now, so I went outside and walked to the park where Jessica took me.

As I was walking there, I felt someone behind me. I turned around to see no-one, so I kept walking. I then turned the corner and heard someone whisper something in my ear. I turned around in circles and so no-one. I kept walking and looked back once more and still there was no-one there. As I turned back around someone hit me in the head, causing me to black out and fall on the ground.

3rd Person POV:

Elena went to Alexis's house and knocked on the door. No-one answered and she then tried the door knob. It opened and she walked inside. "Hello, Alexis" she called out, but got no response. She then went up stairs and checked her room. She wasn't there at all. She thought she might be at the hospital and then went back outside.

As she came outside, she saw Alexis's car still in the drive way. Elena thought that was strange. She shook the feeling off and called Jeremy. "Jer, where are you?" she asked when he picked up. "On my way to the hospital" he answered. "Okay, when you get there can you tell me if Alexis is there?" she asked him. "Sure" he then said. "K bye" she said and then hung up.

Elena then hoped in her car and drove to Stefan's house. She pulled up outside and went inside. Stefan approached her as she came inside and wrapped his arms around her immediately. A second later Damon came in. "Where have you been all morning?" Stefan asked him.

"At the bar" Damon answered causally and then threw his jacket on the lounge, making sound of a chain clink. "What's in the jacket?" Elena asked curiously. Damon narrowed his eyes and went over and searched through his jacket for the thing and then Elena's phone rang.
