With Halloween gone, Amaryllis now worked towards new goals. She had learned that the latest victim of Red Mask had stabilized and was on the road to recovery. She had gotten permission to go and visit him to see if she could learn anything about the villain.

She did a bit of background search and discovered that his name is Suzuki Itsuki. He graduated last year form a well known high school and is a well established intern. His quirk was called Hose where he could shot water out of his finger tips and his hero name was Waterproof. Which Amaryllis couldn't help but find a little funny. She also knew that he was well behaved and there was no record of him doing anything that might cause him to be a target.

Amaryllis's previous week had been a rather stressful one. She had gotten little sleep with school and her internship and had very little time to herself. She felt practically worked to the bone, and she just hoped that today went well.

With a heavy sigh, she ran her fingers through her silver hair, resetting the mess it was. With another breath, she gently knocked on the door. There was a soft, yet irritated, voice coming from inside and Amaryllis opened the door and let herself in. A young man sat up in the hospital bed with a book in his hands. His sky blue eyes gazed at Amaryllis. She was intrigued over the fact that his eyes were a completely different shade of blue from Toya's. She couldn't help but get a tad flustered at the mere thought of him. After noticing the irritated look on his face, Amaryllis continued on.

"Hello," she said, doing her best to sound up beat, "I'm Inoue Amaryllis, I'm a student at U. A. and an intern at Endeavor's agency." The look that reflected in Itsuki's face said Wow, how lucky. Amaryllis was unsure if they helped her harmed her case.

"I'm sure you've been questioned quite a bit but I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about your.." she thought for a moment on her word choice. "Attacker."

Itsuki just stared at her for what seemed like ages. Until he finally sighed and agreed. Amaryllis gave him a quick thank you before she settled herself down in a seat and pulled out a notepad and pen.

Amaryllis thought carefully before asking her first question. She knew the story of how he cornered Itsuki, there was just little details she was missing that she wished to know. "He didn't use any sort of quirk on you, correct?" She spoke slowly, picking out her words as she went.

"Right,"he said with a sigh. Amaryllis jotted down on her notepad.

"And you couldn't see any part of his body whatsoever?"

"Nothing." She jotted down again.

"What was he wearing?"

Itsuki sighed, "A long red cloak with boots and a black hat and a red mask that covered his face." Amaryllis wrote as he spoke, it was little details like this that she didn't get access to.

"And," she thought, "did he say anything to you?"

Itsuki didn't say anything at first, he seemed to be reminiscing in thought, and once he spoke he sounded completely different from before.

"You sit high and mighty on your thrones but you will be dragged down." His words sounded a lot colder, and his hostile gaze softened. "That is what he said to me." He paused before he finished. "And he also laughed while he left me to die."

Amaryllis wrote the exact words down on her paper, just staring at them after she finished. Such strange words, they almost seemed irrelevant for the context, but she couldn't help but feel like there was a deeper meaning to them.

"Anything else?" Itsuki asked, pulling Amaryllis from her thoughts.

"No," she said, closing her notepad and gathering her things. "That is all, thank you very much and I hope you get better." She then left, her mind still buzzing.

As she made her way out of the hospital, Amaryllis ran into someone she didn't expect to see. It was Toya, who looked just as surprised to see her as she was him. Amaryllis felt her heart skip a beat at the mere sight of him, as well as the color rush to he cheeks for a brief moment. She had been so busy she hadn't seen him since last week, and they had each other's tongue's down their throats last time they were together.

She noticed that Toya's eyes were a bit red, and he seemed upset, as well as just tired in general, this worried her.

"I wouldn't expect to see you here," he still held his cocky tone through his tired red gaze.

"I could say the same to you."

Amaryllis just simply gazed at him. There was something off, but she couldn't really figure out exactly what it was. He seemed rather vulnerable like this, almost like a frightened child, and Amaryllis wasn't sure how she felt about that. She was surprised by this, mostly. Toya always seemed like he had a tight grip on his emotions, but not now. Not in his fragile state.

"Are, you alright?" She asked, gazing into his blue eyes before he casted them away from her red orbs.

He spoke after a long pause, "Sure," was all he said, in a low voice.

Amaryllis shifted herself around to where she stood next to Toya, gazing up at him. "Want to grab something to eat? I've been so busy we haven't had time to get together."  She figured that the best thing she could do was offer him her company. She hoped that it would be enough. Her eyes fell down to his hand, at this given moment she wanted nothing more than to feel his warm skin against her's.

"Sure," his tone sounded a bit brighter, and she saw his eyes soften and his lips curl into a small grin. She smiled back, happy that she seemed to at least of cheered him up a little bit.
