Chapter Ten

*1 week later*

"Hurry the fuck up crystal, there are customers waiting for you!" my boss snapped at me as I was changing my wardrobe.

"Yes sir" I said.

Ever since I took them days off last week with Camille to go hang out my boss has been riding me mine crazy. I'm to the point im going to hit him upside the head with my own stripper pole.

I walked out the locker room and into the packed club.

It was Tuesday night, all men's night, so this is where I make the extra.

I did my business, handling customer to customer until the clock hit 2 a.m

I changed, clocked out and headed straight home. Camille picked me up, with Nai sleeping in the back seat.

"She's really tired" Camille said

"My poor baby, ima take her some where special for being put through so much" i looked back at her.

"Your mom still trippy?" Camille ask's

"When is she not? Do you know how bitchy she was when I asked her to keep Nai a little while longer. I swear once I'm done with s-t-r-I-p-p-e-r business, Me and Nai are moving far the fuck away from her self centered ass" I told her

"Tuh, and your bestie?" Camille added

"You too" I giggled

She dropped me and Nai home and I tucked her in bed.

I couldn't really sleep so I grabbed my medical books and started to study over them until I could.

About 3 hours later I was drifting off to sleep and my alarm clock woke me up. 7 a.m it read

I got up and threw myself in the shower and got naiomi up but she was too sleepy. it hurts when I have to drag her around like this, that's why I'm doing what I'm doing, to get better for the both of us.

I searched Nai bag which only had few clothes up in there since my mom wanna rob me for all her clothes, looking for her vitamins.

Seeing she was out I knew Nai wasn't going to wake up any time soon.

I called in at the colledge and let them know that I wasn't going to make it.

They warned me and told me my attendance is starting to effect my grades.

I was worried but I love my niece and when it comes down to her, I'll make any sacrifice for her.

Camille came over with her cousin who towed my car.

It was all fixed and the windows was actually back to one piece, with no charge

I thanked the cousin and he left but Camille stayed.

"Have you....um...Talked to August?" Camille hesitantly asked

"Mmmmm....about a week ago, but it's ok" I shrugged

"Yall cute" she grinned

"Yall? there is no 'Yall' " I emphasized

"August is.....just...Sexy and oooooooh weee! How can you be so calm???" she questioned

"Once again.....We discussed it, he let the media know what was up and that's it.were still socializing but I give him his distance and time." I told her

"When is he comming to see you again?" She questioned

I shrugged

"Could be months, he has an album that's comming out in two months, so it's no time soon" I realized
