Chapter 39: Vacation

*Y/n POV*

I opened my eyes, looking around my room. I shifted around in bed, and my eye landed on the lump under the sheets.

"Oh please don't tell me..."

I lifted the sheets, and I'm ashamed to say I might have screamed a bit.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Okay, more than a bit.

Ophis apparently heard me, as she opened her eyes, letting out a small yawn and rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning, Master."

"Ophis! What are you doing?!"

She wrapped her arms around my waist and hugged tightly.

"I wanted to sleep next to you," She said, "After all, you are my mate~"

"Your what?!"

"Hey Y/n," I heard at the door, "You okay in there?!"

"Yeah Jaune, I'm fine." I answered, "Just give me a minute."

"Okay. Just wanted to let you that there's a guy with long red hair out here. He wants to speak to you."

I heard him walk away, and turned back to Ophis.

"Let go of me."

She hugged tighter, "No."

"Ophis, let go."

"No."

"Ophis, come on!"

"No."

She made a pouty face, that looked really cute.

"Please don't do that."

She kept going, getting more intense.

"Please..."

She stared into my soul.

"It's... too... cute..."

I hung my head, and stopped trying.

"Fine. Ten more minutes."

"Yay!"

She clung tightly to my waist, and put her head on my body.

I had finally managed to free myself from Ophis' grasp, and walked out of the dorm with her behind me.

"We're never doing that again."

"Aww, but you're so comfy."

I shook my head, and went to Ozpin's office, where Dad was waiting for me.

"Hey buddy!"

He pulled me into a hug, and when we split, he saw Ophis.

"Dad..."

"No, I won't attack," He said, "I heard about this from Rias. As for you Ophis, if you hurt my son..."

"I understand sir." She answered.

"Now," I said, "What are you here for?"

"Well Y/n," Ozpin said, "Since you've been through a lot this last month, I thought you could use some time off."

"So we're going to go home for a week." Dad finished.

"That sounds great!" I said, "When are we leaving?"

"Right now." Dad said, "Go get your stuff."

"Alright."

[Timeskip]

I finished packing my stuff, a weeks worth of clothes. Funus stood on my shoulder, as Gaos stood on the desk.

"So, you two are going to Hell, and I have to stay here?" He asked.

"Yep," I answered, "I need some one to watch the dorm while I'm gone."

There was a knock at the door, and I went over to check who it was.

"Oh, Coco, Velvet," I said, "What's up?"

Coco suddenly hugged me tightly.

"I haven't seen you in nearly a month!" She said, "Then you don't come say hi!?"

"Sorry Coco, I was a little busy."

She let me go and looked at my bag. I saw Velvet had noticed it too.

"A-are you going somewhere?" Velvet asked.

"Yeah, I'm going home with my dad for a week."

"Really, you're leaving again?" Coco asked.

"Yeah," I answered, "But I'll see you when I get back."

"Fine." She said, "But you better come say hi."

"I will."

I grabbed my bag, and the girls walked away. Ophis climbed onto my back, apparently wanting a piggyback ride.

I closed the door, and walked back to the office.

I stepped out of the teleportation glyph, with Funus on my shoulder and Ophis following.

"It's good to be home."
