"Please, wait," Fili says loudly to the Master

You and the others have been trying to catch up to him while having Kili lean most of his weight onto you. Something is severely wrong, he's getting weaker and paler by the hour. As you approach the Master, he and Alfrid turn to look at your small group.

"Please," Fili says "We need your help. My brother is sick."

"Sick?" the Master repeats fearfully "Is it infectious? Get back. Alfrid, Alfrid don't let them any closer."

"Please," Oin says "We need medicine."

"Do I look like an apothecary?" Alfrid replies rudely "Haven't we given you enough? The Master's a busy man. He hasn't got time to worry about sick Dwarves. Be gone with you. Go on. Clear off."

A look of pure anger crosses your face, though right as you're about to charge towards the two men the guards start to shove everyone away. With that, you huff in annoyance.

"It isn't worth the time lass," Bofur says beside you "Not now at least."

Next thing you know, you're at Bard's door. Bofur knocks on it urgently. Though, when Bard opens the door, his look goes hard.

"No," Bard says "I'm done with Dwarves. Go away."

With that Bard goes to shut the door just as quick as he opened it. But Bofur stops it.

"No, no, no!" Bofur says, struggling with the door "Please! No one will help us. Kili's sick. He's very sick."

At the sight of Kili, Bard lets everyone in. Hours then pass into night, and things only get worse. You and Fili had laid Kili onto a bed to try to make things more comfortable but it has done little to do so. He continues to wriggle in pain, and groan while gripping whatever in reach as tight as he can. Bofur and Oin do their best to try to do the basics to try and help. Yet nothing is working. While trying to keep him still, Bofur comes over with a bowl of water.

"Can you not do something?" Fili asks

"I need herbs," Oin says "Something to bring down his fever."

"I have nightshade," Bard says from the table "I have feverfew."

"They're no use to me," Oin replies "Do you have any kingsfoil?"

"No, it's a weed," Bard says "We feed it to the pigs."

"Pigs?" Bofur repeats "Weed. Right. Don't move."

Bofur then leaves quickly. Where to? You don't have any clue. (Ayyyy that rhymed. I'm trash. Lmao.)

Minutes later a distant rumbling is heard and the building quivers slightly. Causing some dust to fall from the ceiling. You, Oin and Fili look around to see if anything else may happen then quickly tend back to Kili. Your eyes full of worry along with the other two.

"You should leave us," Fili says, taking steps towards Bard and his family "Take your children. Get out of here."

"And go where?" Bard asks "There is nowhere to go."

"Are we going to die, Da?" Bard's youngest daughter asks

"No, Darling," Bard answers, looking at her

"The dragon," She says "It's going to kill us."

Bard then turns his head to the side and up a bit. Then pulls down a large arrow, a black arrow you presume.

"Not if I kill it first," Bard says

He then exits, his son following behind closely while calling out to him. A while later the boy returns not saying a word. Then moments later Bard's eldest daughter steps out the door.

"Da? Is that you, Da?" She calls out but gets no answer

Footsteps on the roof are then heard. Everyone looks up in curiosity. Bard's eldest then screams while trying to close the door. Sounds of an Orc on the other side of it. Suddenly they're coming in from all sides. You, Fili, and Oin quickly jump into action. As soon as you're done dealing with the Orc at hand on your end, you quickly get Bard's daughters underneath the table for some protection.

One by one they keep coming in. Getting to the point to where there are too many. One of the Orcs turn over the table to try to get to the girls but you quickly step forward and get it away the best you can.

Then the Elven Maiden, Tauriel, appears at the front door. Killing three Orcs swiftly. She is soon followed by Legolas who jumps in through a hole in the roof. As they kill the Orcs you and the others stand over the girls protectively. Though, as one of the final Orcs is killed, you hear Kili shout in immense pain. You barely notice as an Orc runs out the door in fear.

"You killed them all," Bain, Bard's son, says beside you in shock

"There are others," Legolas says, making his way to the door "Tauriel. Come."

Before he steps out, Legolas notices you there. He stops and looks at you for a second before pulling out an item from behind his back. It's your sword.

"I had a feeling you may need this," Legolas says, handing it to you

    "Thank you," You say

He only nods in reply before looking at Tauriel again.

"Come," He says to her "We must go."

She says nothing. You then move over to Kili who is now laying on the ground.

"We're losing him," Oin says with a panicked look

"Tauriel," Legolas says one last time before running out the door

She still stays for a moment then goes for the door but stops as Kili groans. Tauriel glances between Kili and Legolas as he continues following after the Orcs. She then suddenly goes to grab her two blades then relaxes and steps out of view.

"Athelas," Tauriel says outside then comes back into view holding a green plant "Athelas."

"What are you doing?" Bofur says from outside

"I'm going to save him," Tauriel answers

What could she possibly have to offer that any of you couldn't do?
