"I seep daddy" she mumbled

"No no come on mummy is up and made breakfast"

"Oran juice?" She peeked up at me

"I'll make you some" I kissed her head she nodded

"Otay" she agreed I laughed and stood up carrying her down shifting her to my hip I saw Alexis setting the table I sat Luna in her high chair and walked to Alexis who was fixing the last plate

"Mm" I sighed happily wrapping my arms around her I put my face in her neck "strawberries" I whispered she put her hand over one of mine

"You never seemed to notice before" she whispered back glancing at Luna

"I also had my nose in your neck everyday... it was a constant but since I haven't had it in so long" I kissed her neck "I want you to know I do notice it and I love it"

"Go sit Baby" she patted the back of my hand

"No no I promise our little girl some juice first go sit I'll be there" I let her go and patted her bum she looked at me a slight smirk creased her lips I turned and grabbed a sippy cup and opened it pouring in Orange juice sealing it as I walked back I paused

Alexis was feeding Luna a bit of pancake and Luna dramatically bit and chomped loudly holding up her hands her fingers curled to mock claws Alexis was laughing at the silly toddler I laughed too

I sat across from Alexis I passed the sippy to Luna "RAWR fank you RAWR" she snatched it taking a long sip before moving it to get another bite

"Welcome" I smirked watching Alexis give her another bite

"What are you doing?" I mused

"I pancake dino daddy" she said with a duh tone

"Oh right silly me" I looked at Alexis chuckling as she smiled widely

Ace's pov

I laid back in bed I just couldn't find a reason to get up it was the middle of the day I'm fully clothed but yet a lay here across my bed my hands folded on my chest thinking of a reason to get up

This den doesn't need me nor does it want me Luke is dead and this was part our den officially but of course you could understand they were upset during the first few months I had to fight lots of wolves of course they all died in the fight I'm respected but nothing more than that

And now that Harry's back no one treated me the same at home which I get but after a year I thought maybe someone would have at least sent me off with some nice words but... no

"Alpha" I cringed those words made me think of Harry

"Yes?" I answered but didn't move

"Will you be joining us at the gym or are you still unpacking?" 3 days I've been unpacking but in reality I only had 2 bags when I came here I can't use that any longer

I stood up and walked to my door "let's go" he looked a bit shocked I actually opened the door

"Oh right yeah let's" he furrowed his eyebrows for a second probably trying to understand why I'd been acting the way I had

"Do you miss your den?" He mumbled

"This is my den" that was a good reasonable answer very stern and authoritative

"But the one you came from?"

"No my parents died and I had few friends after the fights" my fists clenched of their own accord

"You aren't wanting to return then?"

"I'm done with this conversation" I commented before something was said that could be twisted and used against me

He grunted and kicked rock from the sidewalk "so your staying here then? Permanently?"

I sighed "yes sorry to disappoint"

"Not disappointed" he slipped that in just before opening the gym doors everyone turning to look at us

"Keep working don't stop on my account" I waved my hand and scanned around the room looking for empty equipment I spot a weight rack and I could manage that

"Alpha?" I turned around "will you be picking your official pack soon?"

"More than likely" I shrugged he bowed his head a bit

"I'd like to be evaluated"

"As would I"

"me too"

I grouped formed the mass all looking at me for leaderships and answers

"Yes right well... Friday I'll start the testing"

"Great" they scattered

I turned to rack and lifted the second largest weight glancing in the mirror back at them

Respect can get you places I suppose
