10|Give Me Time

Harry's pov

I stared at her

We've not even kissed and she wanted me to live with her

"A-Alexis..." I licked my lips and sat up a little "b-baby girl I-I can't j-just leave my home" I spoke very softly

She looked away her bottom lip quivering

I grabbed her and held her jaw "Alexis Please" I made her look at me "I want to I want to so bad everything in me is screaming b-but..." I rolled my jaw "I-It's complicated"

She sniffled "I-Im sorry I just..." she trailed off closing her eyes

"I love you I do but i-it's because we aren't... mating" I had promised her not to talk about mating but I had to break the promise if it would make her understand and know it wasn't something that she had done

She opened her eyes again furrowing her eyebrows "w-what?"

"W-Wolves we don't leave our parents house until we find a mate and are ready to start mating... to have a family" I frowned "Im alpha Baby girl it'd be horribly scandalous if I moved out ,out of my community first off, but also because they'd all find out and expect pups"

She nodded "o-okay" she still sounded hurt

"It's not you okay nothing to do with you I-it's me, it's the tradition, it's my title I sneak out every night to come to you b-but I do have roles I play in my pack" I tried to explain but I sounded a tad condescending I groaned

"I-I mean I uh this isn't sounding right I just... Alexis I have to train wolves, work out, hunt, and defend territory those are my jobs but I love you I do"

"I-I'm s-sorry I was selfish" she mumbled

I shook my head "n-no Alexis the highlight of my day is seeing you all I think about is you I can hardly concentrate throughout my day because I yearn for you I want to stay here I want to live with you b-but I c-can't..."

I was hurt I sounded about as hurt as she looked I felt like the more I explained the worse it got

"H-how about this..." I licked my lips "give me some time give me time I can weasel you in to people's minds convince them that we've... we've m-mated and are working on a family then I can stay"

As I said that I was hurt she wouldn't accept being my mate but expected me to be able to give her that sort of treatment don't misunderstand I love her God how I love her

But I am alpha the most watched man in all the den it's hard to keep up appearances as is without having to act like I have my mate and we've started on a family

It hurts because I want those things I need those things and I'd know we don't have them

"Harry I'm sorry I'm so needy" she mumbled I sighed and smiled weakly

"You're not needy enough in my eyes maybe you should work on that" I said playfully

"I care for you Harry I do really" she spoke quietly

It wasn't an I love you but it was better than nothing

I sat up whining Alexis was gone as normal I hit the spot where she had been sleeping I rolled over and sniffed her scent from her pillow humming

after bathing in her smell awhile I imagined she hadn't left that she stayed and was whining for my affection that she would grab at me and rub up against my thigh to semi-satisfy her needs

I'd help her though I'd never make her beg ,not now, not while she would be humping me so desperately, I gladly kiss her sensitive areas toy with her she would love how I'd play with her

I'd let her tease me she could play with the rim of my boxers, lay kisses where she pleases, she could kiss my lips and suck them ,amongst other things, I'd mark her it'd be so strong so powerful she'd wreak of my scent for weeks

I'd happily soak myself in her arousal I'd drown myself in her heavenly taste I licked my lips just thinking of it

Then realized what I had done

I felt myself becoming stiff I groaned loudly but what better place to fulfill myself than her bed with her aroma to engulf me

I rolled over on my back and stared up at her ceiling wiggling down my boxers

"God Alexis" I whined

After I finished I washed myself off and threw my messy boxers in her hamper I walked out and pulled my jeans on having to go commando I stepped out her heated bedroom to the coolness of the rest of her apartment there was a sandwich on the bar

After the sandwich I started on my way home I hopped down from the balcony and ran across the empty streets to the woods

I turned wolf to enjoy my walk I sniffed around but nothing was out of the ordinary

I got home and changed back stepping in my mother was at the kitchen bar which I'd have to pass to get to my room

I smiled "ello mum" I greeted affectionately

She turned "ooo Sweetiepie you're home how lovely how are you?"

"Fine and you?" I was close enough to rub her back

"Good thank you" she cheered I saw a nasty bruise on her upper arm

"Oh mum what happened?" I twisted her arm a bit to see it better

"Ooh I was getting out the shower and your father burst in and scared the B-jeebies out of me I slipped and fell of course your father had a full on panic attack" she giggled softly I nodded and rubbed her arm softly

"As long as you're okay"

"Mm you smell of a female? It's Alexis but it's really strong have you finally mated?! Do I get grandbabies?" She squeaked

My smile instantly fell "n-no she was out this morning actually I was in her bed for quite awhile" I admitted leaving out other details

"Oh well darn" she pouted "soon then no one could resist my big alpha son for too long"

I sigh "Ooh mum how I hope you're right"
