Harry's pov

"Well well look at that you're alive"

Father laughed I kept walking toward him ignoring him I stood in front of him and we glared at each other

"Let me see my mate" I spoke calmly

"No"

"Let me see my mate" I repeated with much more of an edge

"I am alpha in command I said no stand down" he puffed his chest out

"Go fuck yourself" I blurted "when you die Im alpha and when I die she's alpha I know the chain of command"

He stepped forward and I didn't think about stepping back "if you die now I'm still alpha and I get to raise her"

"Alexis is alive this is our child!"

"YOU REALLY THOUGHT I PLANNED ON LETTING HER LIVE?! LETTING WORD GET OUT MY SON FUCKED A HUMAN?! YOU'RE OUT YOUR GODDAMN MIND!" Luna started to cry

"So what if she's human I love her she's my mate I can't help who becomes my mate it's out of my control you know that" I rubbed Luna's back

"You lied to me and to your mother and when you both die I'll make sure to tell her that the Baby is all that's left she'll morn for you both I won't tell her Alexis was human I'll spare her the sheer humiliation"

My lip twitched "I don't wanna have to kill you" I knew what this was all leading up to ,I'm too powerful I know it, my form he saw it he's intimidated had I not taken that form he might have been fine he would have wanted to get rid of Alexis still if he hadn't found out she was human now whenever he did find out he'd want her dead I won't pretend he's capable of compassion like that but me taking that form pushed him over the edge

"That's one of us" he shrugged

"Is this really what you want? to kill your son?"

"Want it no no biologically no I don't want this but animalistically yes I'm compelled to" he tilted his head to one side "I'm not sorry Harry I'm not" he rolled his jaw "I've done too much for this den to encourage mating with pesky humans that can't defend themselves or this den!" He pointed to the ground

"Then lets fight" I nodded my face completely blank "one condition I get to leave Luna with Alexis while we fight she's not even up she'll never know when I die you can take her back and do what you will"

He looked at Luna and then back at me "I supposed she should probably touch her mother at least once Alexis really did put up a hell of a fight she had a broken pelvic bone and still managed to take down 3 nurses I can't say I wasn't marveled" he stepped aside I opened the door closing it behind me

I walked over slowly quietly "oh Baby girl" I whimpered looking at her

"Harry"

I jumped and held Luna tighter her eyes opened and the beautiful green sparkled

"A-Alexis oh god" I cried I shook my head "Alexis I'm sorry I'm so so so sorry f-for everything I shouldn't have let them take you from me I was weak I was so weak forgive me" I sobbed

She shook her head "I heard you" she reached out to me "I heard you both" her hand was shaking

"Here here" I gently laid Luna in her arms she rubbed her thumb on Luna's face
