Ace's pov

"If you aren't leaving me th-then marry me"

That was a lot that was a whole-fucking-lot

She wasn't answering she wasn't moving I felt myself twitching with nervousness and I knew she felt it too

"Ace-"

"Alexis I know this is sudden a-and you aren't emotionally capable or ready to answer such a big question I shouldn't have asked it was cruel of me to put myself before you and before the situation I-I wasn't thinking I just... I was losing you and-"

I jumped when she put her hand over my mouth she sat up and turned her body looking back at me "yes"

"Yes... I'm a douchebag?" I mumbled behind her hand

"No" she moved her hand "yes I'll marry you"

I went wide eyed "really?"

She nodded and rubbed my chest "you've proven yourself more than enough I know you care for me and for Luna"

"I do" I agreed "I really do"

"A-and this whole thing makes me realize..." she looked at Luna ,who was hitting her paws in the water, "she needs a father someone willing to do anything to protect her" she looked back at me "you showed me that can be you"

"Always ,Alexis, Always I love you both more than you could ever know" I pulled her for a deep kiss as I pulled away I kept her facing me "I have a ring"

"What?" She whispered her face that of pure innocence I pull her for another kiss unable to resist her lips I pulled away and rubbed my thumb over her bottom lip

"I have a ring for you"

"Why? How long have you..." she trailed off furrowing her eyebrows

I stood up pulling her to stand up with me "for awhile... I bought it soon after Luna's 1st birthday" I turned off the water and opened the curtain I reached out grabbing the towel on the rack I wrapped her up and picked her up I carried her out to the bed then went back

Luna was on her hind legs her paws in the rim of the tub I picked her up getting another 2 towels out for us I put her on the bed giving Alexis her towel Alexis started to dry her off

I pulled on boxers and dried my hair with the towel I threw my towel and opened my drawer I pulled out the ring then went to Alexis's drawers and pulled out her clothing "here my love" I gave her the pile she smiled up at me and sat them next to her she then grabbed my arm pulling me down

I sat next to her Luna rubbed her head into my side I put the box on her leg she looked at it then back at me

"Propose to me" she pushed the box back down her thigh I laughed I took it and opened it showing the heart shaped diamond it was simple but I thought it was pretty

"Alexis my love" I smiled "it would make me incredibly happy if you could due the honor of marrying me" I took out the ring holding it to her

She put her hand out I put it on her finger then kissed her hand "so perfect thank you so much Alexis you'll never know how much this means to me"

"Well I'll have time to figure it out" she smiled

I nodded "yeah guess you will" I leaned forward and kissed her I was forced to pull away as Luna squeezed between us

"Mm yes darling I love you too" I kissed her head then smiled standing up "I'll make us all a bit of dinner while we eat I'll massage your feet"

Harry's pov
earlier in the morning

I groaned as I rolled over I itched my back on the cement I pause when I realized I didn't feel the little girl

I threw myself to my feet and thrashed my head around rapidly sneaking every corner for her I looked down and saw piece of her dress still in my claw

I ripped it off and ran out the house

She can't be gone she couldn't have gone far without me I-I have to find her to bring her back she can't get away she can't stray from me I need her I need that smell I need her to understand what that smell has to do with me it's of importance I know that at the very least

Ran frantically around the clearing in the bush on all sides I sniffed twitching my head in all directions hoping for just a whiff of something, of anything

I seized when I saw it

I ran over and sat in front of it

The bit that had been in her mouth I remember she dropped it running after those bugs

I don't remember a lot I can't recall anything before that room

I laid down and stared at it I wanted her back I had an intense longing and I couldn't understand why I don't know her I can't recall her in any other point in my life

But to be fair I couldn't remember much of anything in my life at the moment

I nudged it with my nose whining I want her back so I'll find her I picked up the bit with my teeth the smell resonating my dense unknown feelings I had for her

I started to walk down the path I saw her take once past the point I was lost I had no idea where I was or where she could have gone I dropped the bit I couldn't sniff around for her if her scent was under my nose and that hurt having to drop it

I wanted to keep it

I put my nose to the ground and sniffed I smelled something similar it was her... but no it wasn't... but that was the smell that made me want her so it's as good a chance as any to find her I followed that scent

I was hungry and thirsty but I couldn't care less about my needs they really meant nothing because I wanted to have her with me again that was a priority

She needs to be fed she needs to be given water
