Harry's pov

"Yes I know I'm supposed to be in but I can't" I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose

"YOU ARE AN ALPHA YOU CAN'T JUST NOT SHOW UP" he hollered

"I can't come in because Alexis's fingers are broken!" I hissed

"Broken? How?"

"Okay well not broken but bruised to the point she can't move them she was at work filling a drawer a man walked by and kicked the drawer closed on her hand the drawer locked on her fingers she can't move them and they are all cut up I have to be around to help it it's her dominate hand"

"Who? who did that to my daughter in law? and my grandpup?" He growled

"The one that's been following her" I shook my head

"That stupid human shit this wouldn't happen if you moved into the den Harold" I rolled my eyes

"She's still got a job she's been given a 2 week leave because she needs steady working hands for her job" I glanced at the bedroom just to check if she woke up then paced the hallway

"She doesn't have to have a job you're providing for her aren't you?"

"I am but she is head strong she wants her own money and such father I'm not gunna tell her no" this had to end soon I've gotta make breakfast

"One pesky human just fucking kill him" he growled

I frowned deeply as he said that "b-but she's saying there was 2 men there with her"

"2? Both humans?"

"I didn't get to sniff around but I mean I suppose I just smelled Alexis's blood and that's what I was concerned with" I sighed deeply regretting not sniffing around but not regretting the fact I picked her up immediately and carried her out she was crying that kills me to see her cry

"Understandable you've gotta come in at least once this week but I understand if it was your mother I'd take leave too specially since she's pregnant"

I heard movement "she's awake I've gotta make her breakfast" I hung up dropping my phone on the bar I walked through the kitchen pulling out pans I'm gunna make sausage, eggs, and grits

I put in the meat cooking it I heard more movement then a hiss I stood straighter listening I froze I heard a whimpered I dropped the spatula and turned running back up I opened the door and saw Alexis was out of bed "Baby?" I walked to the bathroom and she was changing bandages "do you need help my love?" I asked as I stepped behind her hugging her waist

"I-I've got it" she murmured

I nodded "well I'm making breakfast so I'll bring it up to you in a little bit"

"I've gotta shower" she looked up at me through the mirror

"I'll bathe you" I kissed her shoulder

"I don't-"

"You can't move your fingers or get your hand wet I'll take care of you okay? Don't worry yourself or the Baby just relax" I rubbed her stomach "lay back down pick out a movie and wait for me" she nodded
