Alexis's pov

I am sitting here waiting for Harry to return his father sent him out of the city for a meeting with another den to sign some kind of alliance

My big Alpha man

He'd be home tonight finally after 2 days and I was preparing for a romantic night I made grilled chicken breast sliced thinly laid over homemade alfredo and I know he'd love some meat he always does

I had on a tight maroon dress that left nothing to the imagination it barely made it over my bum and the thin spaghetti straps looked close to ripping to hold up my bust it looked like one of those structured bras

I tapped my long back nails on my thigh bouncing my leg my black chunky heel tapping the ground I shot up hearing a car and seeing the shine of the headlights beaming through the window I smiled widely and ran to the door waiting I told him I left it unlocked for him

I nibbled my lip which was painted over in a very vampy maroon color ,it matched my smoky, sultry eye makeup well even with the large fluttery lashes,  the door clicked

I blushed just thinking of seeing his face the door opened almost in slow motion Harry was holding his duffle bag "Baby g-" he was cut short seeing me in front of him he dropped his bag his mouth ajar

"I missed you" I opened my arms to him

"Alexis" he was no longer in slow motion he slammed the door and was in my arms with in 3 steps he picked me up in the hug he gave me he growled but it was one of satisfaction "you look so sexy" he nuzzled into my curled hair kissing my neck

"How was your trip?" I hummed happily he kissed me deeply I raised one of my feet like in the movies the cliché sign of love but I was up in the air and I do love him might as well while I can

"I love you, I missed you, it was lonely" he gave all the answers in one rushed statement "and you were lonely you wanted me I felt it it made me happy to know you do actually miss me while I'm away" he set me down

"Of course I do I love you" I nodded he kissed my head and pulled one of my curls watching it spring back

He paused and sniffed the air "mm there's a lot to smell around here..." he wiggles his nose his lip twitched "I think I have to readjust to the smell of your makeup... and your perfumes" he trailed off

I nodded "yeah I'm sorry I know it's probably lot and I used only the best makeup I had for your return and most of them were very sweetly scented" I bit my lip feeling a bit guilty

"That's fine you look ravishing you really do it'll only take me a few minutes to readjust but what I know I smell for sure is meat" he grinned

I giggled and nodded "mhm sit down I've made us dinner" he kissed me and walked to our dining room table I walked to the kitchen grabbing the pre made plates I walked back and stood behind him

"I've made my mate my favorite dish" I set it in front of him

"Mmm Baby girl" I could practically hear him salivating

I took mine to my seat and sat down only after I took my first bite he dug in

"You cook so good god you're such a good mate" he smiled widely speaking between bites

I smiled back "thank you"

After we finished he insisted on taking the plates he put them in the sink then walked back and took my hand walking us to the bedroom he stopped and put me against the wall

"I appreciate all the work you put in to your makeup and the dress ,god specially the dress, I really do but relax with me please? My tee shirt, sloppy bun, your beauty marks" he tapped on my chin below my lip where my mole was under the makeup "that's the Alexis I wanted to come home to you all dolled up and looking like a goddess makes me feel underdressed and inadequate quite frankly" he laughed softly
